Glenn’s Auto Collision

This is by far the worst experience at a car shop and horrible customer service. A quick overall summary is basically that it’s been about 2 months and repair on my car still has not been completely repaired. I had two claims front passenger fender needed replacing and the other was vandalism to my vehicle, they broke the back window and tore out my stereo and center console.
Ok. So I drop off my car beginning of March and speak with shop and they tell me just leave your car well submit the paper work and we can get started as soon as we receive the check. So I leave it the adjuster calls me the next day and says everything is good to go. Two weeks pass and I wanted an update on the vehicle. I’m told to come by the shop. When I arrive I see my car on the sidewalk in the same exact condition that I dropped it off in. There was still broken glass in the back seat. So we speak and he tells me that the check barely arrived but that he already ordered all the parts that it’s only a matter of replacing the parts and installing the radio which would only take 2 – 3 more days. (This was Friday and told me weekends don’t count so it was actually more like 5). Anyway I’m like fine at least this is almost over.
Week three comes along. I call and ask about the car. He tells me we’re still waiting for the window to arrive it’s a special order window. WTF. 3 week goes by onto 1 month. Still no window. And then he sends me a picture of the bumper saying it just got painted and they will be installing it. Smh. He tells me I’ll get a call in a few days when it’s all done.
So now it’s been over a month I pass by and they say it’ll just be another hour and it’s done. Ok so I come up to the car you would expect a smile on my face but no just utter disappointment. The aftermarket radio they put in wasn’t the one I asked them to put in, but it was my second choice and I didn’t have to pay the extra I would have paid if they put the one I wanted in so I dismiss it. But then they tell me that the voice isn’t working so pretty much theres no sound coming out and they don’t know why. They turn to me and ask me what i think it is. Im like you guys are the auto shop not me. I tell em I still have stock speakers and maybe its missing a part. He’s like oh yea we might need an amp adapter. He tells me it’ll take another few days and i tell him pretty much that this is just taking way too long that I’m going to take the car. So we agreed i would call next week come in they would install it and wed be done. NOPE!
I get home and start looking over the car, i should have done it there but i was just ready to get out of there. I find plastic was still wrapped around the inside of my wheel. Plastic and tape still under the car, come on clean the car up right. I check the inside and notice the my center air vents are still broken, the mic for the radio is placed behind the visor (so if its sunny it pretty much blocks the mic). Some of the interior headline is not placed back properly from when they inserted the mic wire. Also when i checked the bumper I noticed that they placed the bumper plug/​srew in the wheel well and the wheel well screws in the bumper so pretty much the wheel well is loose and the bumper plugs are forced in and I can’t remove em. I was also told that my replacement window would be tinted as well, but ill let you guess how that turned out.
Week 5. I call and say I’m coming in to get the piece installed. Im told they don’t have yet but he’s got a guy out trying to buy it. Hell call in a few days. So those days go by and i start calling back. The shops phone keeps on ringing with no answering machine. I call the owner leave voicemails nothing. I call again on weeks 6 that I’m coming in to show them what still needs to be fixed. I get there they tell me the part i need has to be special ordered. One guy told me it was already on its way but when i spoke to the other guy he’s like «ill call right now to order the parts». He said hell add on the steering wheel controls and fix the vent. Fine, I leave.
Now its week 7 and I call. So whats up with the parts. The guy on the phone was like i think he just put in the order today but ill have the owner call you later today (that was yesterday). No call back. I call again today to the shop no answer again, not surprised. I call the owner and he says hell call me back. Do you think he’s called back? All I want is my radio to work. Month 2 is around the corner Im leaving on vacation to Tahoe, I’m driving and ill have no music and have to use my phone for navigation. On top of that that whole month i went without a car i had to use lyft about 2 – 3 times a day. You can see how that would add up over a month. Anyway, my experience with this establishment has been an EPIC FAIL. Im thinking of just taking my car to a car audio shop and by the air vent myself and install it and tint my own window again.

A year ago my car got vandalized and a friend of mine recommended me to Glens Auto Collision. To be honest I didn’t think the car could be fixed and brought back to it’s pristine condition. Sure enough Glen and his guys went over and beyond. Not only did they make sure the car was back in action better than before, but they kept me updated and delivered the car one day before the due date. Glen and his guys are quick, professional, and do some amazing quality work. I will definitely be coming back for a detail!

I’m with a previous reviewer. 10 out of 5 stars! Glenn and his team are professional, honest, thorough and friendly. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from him, feel like the pricing was more than fair, and will recommend him to everyone I know!

Ok, I’m a believer! For my birthday, a friend got me a gift to get my car fully detailed. Given how ‘particular’ I am, I didn’t have high expectations but I am so happy with the results. The attention to detail and the care/​time they took to make my car perfect is extraordinary. And the guys at this shop are so professional and nice. I will definitely be back! Thank you!

I would give this business 10 stars if I could, these guys are consummate professionals! Had an unfortunate brush up with a pole while parking into a tight spot that resulted in breaking the molding, denting and a couple of deep scratches to my rear door. Looked around at a few body shops in the area but was dissatisfied with the the array of astronomical prices being thrown at me. While getting an estimate at another shop, I happened to look down the street and see Glenn’s Auto body and decide to go over and see what they had to offer. Immediately pulling in, I saw several high end vehicles being worked on/​ready to be picked up, this gave me some assurance that that they were reputable. Spoke with Franco and Glenn, they explained the best option and most economical way to go about the repairs as well as options for a rental. Gave me an estimate $ 1,000 lower than the others I was getting and even showed me some of the work that was done on other vehicles. I immediately had a good feeling about these guys, their professionalism, honesty and lifetime guarantee of their work made it an easy choice to go with them. Four days later, my car looks brand new, they even took care of other minor scratches on the car at no additional charge and even detailed the car for free. The even do modifications and gave me a reference for tint. I would advise anyone who wants to get top quality work for a more than reasonable price to go to Glenn’s, it’s worth the drive. I hope to never have to need their services again but if I do, their on speed dial!
