Moreno’s Taqueria

The best regular taco ($ 1.50) anywhere! Includes grilled jalapeño & onions at your request! No where else offers that without being charged extra. Also free chips and decent choice of condiments & salsa. Moreno (owner) is very friendly and takes great care of customers; ie: 4 little kids came in & ordered tacos all wanting something different and Moreno was very patient in taking their order. Also training a new cook teaching his care, presentation & patience.
I would highly recommend anyone to try this place at least one time. I drive all the way from Pacifica to have the tacos! That should tell you something. — Enjoy!

This place has changed owners just recently. Maybe about 3 – 4 months ago. From my first experience I would prefer the first owners. I came here on a tight time line schedule to get fast fresh Mexican food. I was behind 2 other people who had ordered an paid only to be waiting for there change. The people who where behind the counter, with both of these customers had to ask patrons for one dollar bills in order to make their change. I was getting frustrated, who runs a business and runs out of one dollar bills?! So I was next and, just prolonged my order.
I ordered two vegetarian burritos. Watching them make was not a pretty site. The younger assistant was more visual in not having the meat mix with the tortilla as it cooked on the griddle. But once assembling the burrito the younger assistant had more experience in wrapping the burrito. He had to re-​due the other persons mess and it was still loose and all of my filling was all over the place. The flavor was OK but the consistence with the fillings was not right.
It might of been an off day because I have heard that they have good food but I would not come here gain. When running late to a meeting I would rather be REALLY late then skip steps and get something bad. If you pass by here and crave Mexican food keep on treckin!
