I love the Sandwich Factory and this review is long over due, Ive been coming here for lunch for quite awhile now and every time that I do I have to hide it from my co workers because I will then get a long list of things to order, the employees are really nice and fast you could really taste the difference in quality and freashness and im not talking«subway freshness» I will continue to come here, just so I can try everything. Id have to say the chicken malibu is one of my favorites and I just found out they do catering … awhhhhhh

Our initial plan was to go to the taco place across the street before heading to SFO, but there was no parking so we stopped here. What a lovely surprise! My friend and I couldn’t decide, so we shared the chicken salad and the reuben. Both were delicious! The chicken salad was the kind that is almost minced. It was seasoned very well and not dry at all. The reuben came with crinkle fries, which are my favorite. Good size portions too!

Well, sadly the quality of their sandwich making has dropped considerably since my last review. I work fairly close, not close enough to go back. The situation: I asked for a hot pastrami on dutch(they were out) with everything EXCEPT pickles and onions. Get back to the office and boom, its roast beef, WITH not only pickles but… tada… onions as well! I useto love this place, but if I am standing right there and speaking clearly and you cannot understand that I wanted PASTRAMI with NOONION or PICKLE? I just phoned as the gal said«would you like to bring it back?» I declined as I am already back at the office… But in all honesty, I will no go back again. It was a great run for the last few months, but if you cannot make a sandwich to order you should consider an alternative job opportunity. Very disappointed.

This place is a lil below average thats why I give it 1 stars. I worked across the street from this place for the last 5 years and would eat here when I was strapped for time and just needed to eat. other than that I would not go. Their sandwiches are nothing to rave about! I can literally make better sammies at home. The bread is really bad, they should of not labeled the company name the sandwich factory and thats not what they do best. What they do well is cooked food. The burgers, grilled cheese, fries, wings are all better than average with good portions. The service was better with the old staff. I think they owner and original cooked left to another location and the service did take a slight step backwards because of that. Overall if you are in the neighborhood and need something to eat ASAP its okay to go here but if you can wait till the next pit stop do so…

i really have nothing to bad to say about this place. the food is inexpensive, it’s delicious, and the portions are massive. i usually get the california club(turkey, bacon, avocado) or the chinese chicken salad. make sure you ask for the salad dressing on the side, as they tend to over do it if they mix it in for you. the chilli bean soup here is also really good.

Wonderful place for breakfast or lunch. My co-workers and I eat here whenever we are in the area. We’ve had burgers, philly cheese, omelets, sandwiches… damn near everything. Pretty good grub for the amount of money you spend and its very casual just to chill out on the couch while your order is prepared. They make a killer reuben, fyi.

Not bad, not amazing. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing? My roasted turkey sandwich was good, but it wasn’t great and I was disappointed ot see So much marbling in the meat like it had been heavily processed. The macaroni salad was tasty, but it was odd that they didn’t have a soda fountain, it was all bottles and cans from a cooler. I’ll be back to try other menu items, I think what my dining companion ordered looked better!

Have more to add. I regularly have their Chinese chicken salad too. Nothing awesome, but the portions are big. Anything you order the portions are bigger than anyone should eat in one setting especially if you are going back to the office. Especially the breakfasts! Friendly service.

Went here on my lunch break because it was close to my work and I really wanted a sandwich. It was… not that great. Out of all the sandwich places I’ve eaten, it’s last on my scrumptious sandwich list. It was oook if you want something quick and simple. The prices are pretty normal for sandwiches. The service is not very good, and every time I go, it’s dead inside; yet I still have to wait a couple minutes before they take my order. The only other employee at the register was just sitting there playin on her phone. I was ready to pay, but I had to wait until she was finished lollygagging. Tried going there again because I was desperate and thought I’d give them another chance. Went there with 10 minutes left before they closed. Their doors were still open, their sign still said open, there was an employee at the register(who looked at me once and went back to playing on her phone), and one customer eating a sandwich. I waited in line for a while for someone to come take my order. After getting annoyed by the wait, I went to the cashier and told her what I wanted to order. She looks at me as if I’m dumb and says«we’re closed.» What the hell kind of service is that.

I got a mushroom cheese steak for lunch. It was fresh and good. The portion was big. I also go fresh fries with it as well. I would recommend trying this place out.

Located in the heart of industrial SSF, this sammy joint is often graced by hard-hatted laborers and automotive repairmen. Not your typical mom and pops. If you’re lucky, you will catch a group of workers from the auto repair shop next door on their lunch break, and eavesdrop on one of the gang related stories of how the brother of his homeboy’s girlfriend’s uncle’s son got stabbed. Priceless stuff. I’ve eaten here 4 times in the span of a month and can safely say that this is truly a hidden gem. In fact, it is so low key that the second time I checked in, I was dubbed Duke! All hail the Duke of Sandwich Factory! What’s not to like about this place? The hot pastrami is very good. Comparable to Submarine Center or Mr. Pickles. They make you choose your bread as well so you can do the dutch crunch with something as simple as turkey and you will be charged as if you were getting it with the regular sliced bread. They are very generous with the meat and veggies that go in it. They also have a garlic sauce that is very mild, unlike the very potent kind they serve in Little Lucca. The subtlety actually makes the sandwich that much better in the sense that you don’t repel your co-workers with your garlic breath after lunch. They also offer you a free side of either potato or mac salad. The bottomline: The people behind the counter are very friendly, their sandwiches are good, cheap and best of all, no one knows about it so there is never any line.(shit, I hope I didn’t just jinx it by writing this review). I mean. sandwich bad… lousy service. don’t go here.

S. Airport Blvd in SSF/San Bruno is where all the auto repair shops are. I was picking up my car today when my mechanic told me he needed an add’l hour to work on my car. I told him n/p and asked him if there was a place nearby that served lunch. This was that place. It’s conveniently located a block away and I walked over there, luckily hungry, and devoured a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. Service was quick, friendly and a positive experience. The quality of the sandwich, drink, and chips, which cost $ 12, was good. Will deff’ly come by here again soon. Ideally, one must plan their hunger with when the pick up their auto.

Wooohoo! I love this place. My friend’s parents own it, as you can see ‘Lina S.’ down below! I’ve been in the back so I can honestly tell you this place is legit and super clean and well kept. Staff is super sweet. ALL of them! Super fresh everything, bread, meat, cheese, etc. You can taste the freshness. Favorite deli by far.

I’ve had both their sandwiches and the burgers. By far, the burgers are better. I guess I’ve been spoiled by Darby Dan’s. Nothing very special about the sandwiches. They’re cheap at less than $ 4. Good size, as I could only finish half of one, but I wanted more of a kick, so I’ll add hot peppers next time. We usually order by phone, and somebody goes to pick it up. I don’t think you would want to go out of your way to eat here, but if you work in the neighborhood, give them a try, but get a burger instead. They come with steak fries and run about $ 6. So I guess I have to play the law of averages and rate the burgers 4 stars, but the quality of the sandwich warrants a one star deduction. Salads and rice bowls are also available.
