Sunshine Gardens Elementary School

Son went to Sunshine Gardens a few years ago. Everybody there was great. Great teachers, great principals. The first principal was on her last year there; she was an excellent principal. The second (current) principal was also excellent.

My brother goes to this school and every time that i go there, the secretary there has such a bad attitude. I thought it was just one day but everytime i go there, she has a bad attitude. I love the principle there though, she the best that the school has ever had in my opinion.

Many interactions with this school — unfortunately my ratings will not improve.
I tried to tell my childs teacher about an incident that recently occurred with another student and she totally didnt care! She said, «oh I dont think that happened». I was not trying to have any child diciplined, I was mainly trying to INFORM the teacher of what was possibly going on with her students and she brushed off my concerns.
I’ve had enough interactions with this teacher, I’ve even tried to be considerate of her feelings by thinking perhaps she’s having a bad day, or that she’s just plain busy. But I’m finally convinced that she doesnt care enough. Maybe there are too many students and she’s overwhelmed?

I love this school, my family has been going there for generations, and now my daughter attends this school, the principal is really strict and that can get annoying sometimes, but i do understand she is doing her job and maybe its for the best!!!

Great memories with (forgive any mispellings, it was a long time ago) Lara Lesuer, Ernie Pazola, Michael Yasko, another Michael-​something, Joey Corrado, Darin Marquardt, Arnold Ong, Jeffrey Thomas, Monica Della, Angela Beck, Christine-​something, Toni-​something. Many others.
I also remember Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Holcomb, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. May, and Fourth Grade teacher Mr. Jordan and his imaginative stories about Dianna «Boss», Raquel «Belch» and other such celebrity spoofs. Wagon Wheels pasta for lunch, Halloween Costume Parades, and paper airplane contests where the winner got candy!!! I wonder if schools still do this today?
I also remember I was the coolest, cutest, smartest kid in the school. Hey, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
