Love this place! As I work in the plaza, I come here at least 3 times a week for my meal breaks. They are usually fast, unless they are understaffed. Most of the girls that work there are great and extremely friendly except for one. She seems like she literally hates her job and never wants to be there. Never approachable or friendly at all and not very attentive. I feel like I’m imposing by ordering one smoothie on my short break. Other than her attitude and the effect it may have on future and returning customers, the smoothies are great for the price and very filling!

As someone who is always in a rush and cant always have a full meal before or after the gym this place is incredibly clutch for a quick boost. They have a vast menu and so far I haven’t had a bad tasting smoothie. All smoothies also range with different calorie/fat/protein needs to the customer which I think is excellent. The staff is friendly and does a great job getting you in and out. Emerald City is an extremely clean facility. So clean in fact you can just about feel your eyes bleeding from the pungent stench of what smells like the strongest bleach on planet earth. love the place otherwise

Best smoothies in the Manchester area! They are so good I often go multiple times per week if my time allows. It is very clean which is a big thing for any place dealing with food and even smells great as soon as you open the door! I normally get one of the smoothies with chocolate and peanut butter, as they are two of my favorite desserts, and unlike ice cream or pastries for a dessert the smoothies are healthy for you as well and taste great. Another excellent feature is they have soy protein and soy milk for those who are lactose and tolerant.

Came here before Planet Fitness for a smoothie(needed an energy boost). I ordered the Vegan Berry Blast and was pleasantly surprised. It contained no dairy or added sugar, but was incredibly sweet. They added flaxseeds and some other goodness to make it a healthy, satiating, but tasty treat. A little pricey, but not sure you could make something like what I ordered at home for that much cheaper, honestly. And who wants to clean a blender? What a pain! There was a really weird smell here when we stopped in. I’m not sure what it was. Like they were drowning in some kind of cleaner to cover up some other smell? Not really sure. Another reviewer mentioned the smell. I think they ought to do something about that. I wasn’t impressed with the customer service — maybe they just couldn’t hear me over the blenders? The seating in the place was pretty awkward, honestly. It is currently set up to allow two groups of about four people to sit, but I think it could be rearranged(with different chairs/booths) to permit four groups of two people, which would be better. As the weather gets better, you can head right around the corner to sip your smoothie in the sun on some seating around a cute fountain though so there’s that. I plan to return. There aren’t many places where I can get a healthy dairy and caffeine free smoothie in Manchester.

I’ve been to Emerald City Smoothie many times and was always satisfied, but not impressed. There are not many smoothie places in the area so this is one of the only options. My boyfriend and I were craving a smoothie and stopped by after running errands. We walked in and almost walked out. The place smelt like dog poop. I could not pinpoint why it smelled so awful, but it did. I asked my boyfriend if he wanted to leave and we decided to just get the smoothies and leave. He ordered the Just Peachy smoothie. This had peach, papaya, strawberry, nonfat milk, protein in it. The smoothie was refreshing and completely satisfying. I ordered the Pineapple Bliss smoothie containing pineapple, banana, orange, papaya, and Protein. This smoothie was not good at all. It tasted like soured pineapple. The service was basic, nothing to rave about, nothing unpleasant. Little pricey for a small smoothie($ 5). I have been to Emerald City Smoothie many times before and it has never smelled so bad. Possibly, there was an issue they were working on? Therefore, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. If it keeps smelling like this during future visits I will not be heading back.

So many smoothie options! Smallest sizes start around $ 5+. Looks like they’re also trying to appeal to the juice crowd with separate additions of foods like kale to some of their other menu items. Has about 10 seats and a handful of healthy snack options. There seemed to be a lot of regulars here.

I go to this place at least once a week and the smoothies taste great and are very addicting! One thing I notice though is that there seems to be a drop in quality if you use a coupon. Either that or they are not terribly consistent in how they make each smoothie. Favorites are vegan berry blast, rejuvenator, and energizer.

Tried this place for the first time while I was waiting for a friend to come out of the Portrait studio. They have a lot of menu choices for the health nut on the go. I went with something fat free but they have low sugar, immune boosting, bulk up. It’s great. Many different flavors and you can substitute or omit depending on what you’re in the mood for. A medium fat free peach smoothie was about $ 5 and some change. Worth every penny too! I would definitely return.

coming here after the gym or yoga is awesome. their pb&j, berry berry, and nutty banana are my favorites. boosters and protein are tasty but a tad pricy — you get what you pay for.

It’s okay. Nothing really stood out to me. I have had much better smoothies for a little less. It’s not a bad place just not a «go to» smoothie place for me. Maybe if I am in the area and in the mood I may stop by, but that is it at best.

We’ve all been there, right? You’re in Manchester, it’s a hot day, so you want a cold drink. You get a milkshake from Sonic or Johnny Rockets, and it tastes good, but it comes with a free side of guilt over the high caloric intake. Emerald City is a new, healthier option. This place is a new addition to Evergreen Walk, over by LL Bean. I must say, it was not what I expected, although that’s not a bad thing. Emerald City is very much a must-visit for health nuts. When you enter, you are immediately greeted by displays of protein bars and mixes, as well as energy supplements. The smoothy menu displays not only ingredients for each smoothy, but also the calorie and protein totals for each one. The smoothies are divided by health category: some are low-calorie, some are high protein(and higher calorie), and some are in between. As for the smoothies, they have a good taste and consistency. They’re better than your normal gym smoothies. The chocolate flavors are especially good. Overall, this is a healthy option if you’re in the area and don’t want to deal with the guilt of Sonic or Johnny Rockets.

This place reminds me of the smoothie bar at my gym. A bunch of smoothies are marketed as «fat burning» or «energy» beverages. There are tons of bars(Luna, KIND, Cliff) as well as buckets and containers of protein powders, whey, and that kind of stuff. And… that’s pretty much it, other than two small seating areas. I wanted a cold icy drink today while running errands in the area so I decided to give this place a try. Right away, I was appalled by the prices. Some smoothies were over six bucks! That’s A LOT to pay for a smoothie. They come in three sizes, 16oz. 24oz. and 32 oz. It’s a little confusing because the prices listed on the huge menu are for the mid-sized smoothie, so it’s less for the smaller one, more for the larger — but you don’t get to know how much less or how much more unless you ask. None of the flavors really jumped out at me so I opted for a Pina Colada(16oz. was a little over five dollars). It was good on the first sip and after that it was way too sweet and began tasting a little artificial. I ended up throwing some of it out. Also, it annoyed me that the cup was sticky which got my hands really sticky. This is odd because I saw the girl who made the smoothie wipe the cup with same towel that she used to wipe the counter right after she made it. Ew.

After visiting ECS twice in one weekend I now rank it up there with Robeks Juice in terms of delicious smoothies. However, I’ve also come to realize that I am a fan of ALL smoothie shops, so take what I say with a grain of salt. A big bonus is that most their smoothies are served standard with protein. I will stop here anytime I visit Evergreen Walk.

I saw this little store while shopping around Evergreen and noticed the small fountain area next to it for the first time. My family and I got some smoothies(I got the strawberry-banana) and we sat near the fountain on a hot summers day. Great Smoothies!

I was on my way to Cold Stone(got wisdom teeth removed) and happened to see there was a smoothie place in this outdoor mall. I hotfooted over there to be served by «Dara»(total sweetie) who explained all the drinks and what her favs were. I ended up with a Coconut Passion Smoothie consisting of: Coconut, banana, pineapple, almonds, nonfat millk, wheat germ, protein The yummiest smoothie I have had in a LONG time. Please stop by and give them a try — you won’t be disappointed!
