EPIC Salon

Wonderful experience. Sam cut and highlighted my hair paying close attention to both my likes and dislikes, (and with short hair there a quite a few). The surroundings are beautiful and relaxing with soft music in the background. Reasonably priced. I definitely recommend this salon.

I was the «cut your hair once a year» type, so I didn’t have a salon I went to consistently. Now I do! Jessica gave me such a great experience, cut, and style! The entire staff is SUPER friendly, talented, and professional.

I’ve gone to Epic twice now. I previously was driving to Glastonbury and could never seem to get an appointment with my stylist unless I booked 3 months out. So when I saw the hours of the new place that sold me! Shana was my stylist and listened to what I like and don’t like and gave me some of her options too. Obviously she knows best and I’m glad I took her advice. It was super clean and relaxing in there… they even gave me a glass of wine which made it even more relaxing! Shana did such an awesome job when I needed my hair retouched I knew who I would call! And i will be calling again this week to get on before the holidays!!! I would highly recommend.

I was looking for a new salon and since this is in town, decided to give it a try and boy am I glad I did. Upon arrival I was greeted immediately with smiling faces — great first impression right off the bat. There’s nothing worse than walking into a salon and being ignored or greeted by annoyed receptionists. So this was a huge plus already. I met my stylist, Molly, and told her I was at her mercy to do something great with my hair. But what she did wasn’t great at all… it was absolutely INCREDIBLE. She took the time to work on my already colored hair to make it into a gorgeous Fall themed creation that I have not stopped getting compliments on. I also had a previous terrible cut from another salon and wouldn’t you know it, Molly was able to fix it for me!
The salon itself is beautiful inside, decorated very well and appealing to the eye. Awesome artwork on the walls and incredibly clean. You are offered a variety of drinks while you get pampered and even an iPad to use! They use organic products on your hair and everything smells wonderful.
If you are looking for a new salon, or just want to go in for a wild transformation, head over to Epic Salon in South Windsor and book yourself an appointment with Molly immediately! You won’t be disappointed. I know I certainly wasn’t.

This salon is amazing! And the staff makes it even better. Not only is it beautiful inside, but the products they use are great and all organic. I had Nikki as my hairdresser and she is hands down the best I’ve ever been to. She listened to what I wanted and did exactly that plus gave me tips and advice about my hair. She put so much time and effort into my hair and also gave me great samples to use at home. I will absolutely continue using this salon.

I went for a couple reasons to epic
A. My girl friend moved to this salon
B. I have not found someone or some place that has been able to give advice, know what they are talking about, know what they are doing, and most importantly make me leave loving it.
Epic sure did that and my stylist long time friend Jillian was nothing short then amazing to me. I brought in 9 pictures and she and all the rest of the girls gave me the best advice possible.
They did test strips! How many salons do u know that do test strips! I absolutely love my color and I am nothing more but so happy with my cut.
The décor was amazing also this is for sure my new salon!!!

AMAZING!!! I will never go to anyone else for my hair!!! Nikki is a sweetheart and she does a breath-​taking job with my blonde highlights. I get compliments –everywhere– I go!!! The salon is absolutely GORGEOUS and Nikki is by far the best stylist I’ve ever had do my hair. I’ve been going to Nikki for 5 years now and followed her from Glastonbury (OGGI) when she decided to open up a salon of her own. The salon is super modern, you have ipads to read magazines portable hair dryers, email apt. reminders, wine (for evening apts), new product lines (even some organic) etc. Such a relaxing experience– almost feels like a spa! This is a MUST check out salon, do yourself a favor!

I followed Nikki and love going to her even more! Nikki always does up to date and fun styles with my hair! Great salon with top notch extras! There’s a warm blanket draped on you while you are getting your hair washed plus mini IPads to check your messages or browse through multiple magazines on them, and online scheduling along with appointment reminders! It’s an overall great experience and enjoyable to go to Epic!

My stylist, Shana, is an artist! She always listens to what you want and offers suggestions. (She also does not get offended if you tell her no.)I went to this salon a couple weeks ago to get a cut and highlights. I have revived nothing but compliments on my hair since. The experience was so… epic… I will be seeing y’all again soon!!!

I live in South Windsor, grew up in Windsorville, & quite familiar with the area. I honestly had never noticed a salon in the location where Epic now resides until they took. The logo and building design caught my eye as I was leaving the Stop & Shop plaza.
My former stylist was booked on the weekends leading up to Valentine’s Day and I immediately thought of Epic. They contacted me right away and scheduled me with Nikki (owner) in during their soft opening.
My first appointment was nothing less than wonderful. I went in for a color, blow-​out, trim/​style, and decided to add some highlights following an extremely professional consultation. In addition, I immediately felt at ease as Nikki has experience with ethnic hair (I am biracial), which has been somewhat of a challenge for me in the past when working stylists. The overall experience was equal to, if not surpassing, high-​end salons I had been to in the past.
Surprisingly — in a great way — the overall cost of my appointment was significantly less than that of the aforementioned high-​end salons. I booked my second appointment for a color touch up, which was yesterday.
I received the same excellent service and followed Nikki’s advice to lighten a little more, but not too much as the risk for damaging my hair would be too great. the results were fabulous! I booked a third appointment with Nikki for a Keratin treatment and look forward to going back.
I need to mention their products — the entire staff is quite knowledgable about the clean, cruelty free products they use, and have never been aggressive about pushing me to purchase.

I had the priviledge of meeting the wonderful and very talented staff and owners at Epic Salon today. I cannot stop talking about this beautiful new salon! It is so modern and sleek. They are on top of all the modern styles and use all top of the line products! So happy this new salon is in South Windsor! Best of luck to all of you in your new business! You will be seeing a lot of me, my family and friends!

I had my hair cut here last week and I only have received great feedback since. My wife loved it, most importantly. The salon is brand new, super sharp looking, very modern and stylish. The staff is friendly and they make you feel like home.
I highly recommend this to anyone.
