We got 3 estimates on the removal of a mammoth tree that was banging on our house for two days. OMG! I thought I would have a heart attack and was terrified that the tree would cause structural damage. This was also 2 days before a monumental snow storm was on the way on January 22, 2016. One company needed to remove fences, time to schedule and other scary things for a home owner to digest with a tree from hell killing our house on top of the cost.
The other service said that the tree was mammoth and required the highest level of skill and precision to remove the tree safely without damaging our house or putting workers at risk. We were referred to COLONIAL in SOUTHAMPTON, PA who assessed the situation several times before assuring us that they had the skill and the crane to remove the tree safely without fence removals and possible damage to our home. They also understood the urgency of the job with the tree causing more damage to our home with a major storm on the horizon. THEY DID A SPECTACULAR JOB! We are so pleased. The crew was friendly, they helped us «push» our car out of the way that wouldn’t start, they cleaned up every single limb, twig and branch that fell on and around our property. and they charged us a far price for the job. Just be aware that tree removal of this nature is NOT CHEAP. What’s important is that you do your homework and choose a company based on skill and service and not the cheapest price. I hope that others read this review and give them their business. I will use them again without wasting time on estimates. They were worth every dollar. JOB WELL DONE, GUYS!
