Beautiful resturant the outside was very charming. The service started out very well. My boyfriend and I ordrered drinks. He has been drinking Johnny Walker Black for 30 years. After finishing his first drink he was sure it wasn’t JWB. By the third drink he commented to the waiter. The waiter responded that he was certain it was. The drink appeared to be very light yellow and even I who has very little knowledge of scotch is bothered ny the fact a resturaant has to do thi to make more revenue.

We live in Southampton and we went to Delmonico’s last season during Restaurant Week when their usually outrageous, even for the Hampton’s, prices were a bit more reasonable, although they offered a very limited menu. Of course, their ‘famous’ steak wasn’t one of the Restaurant Week offerings so we had iceberg wedge salads, short ribs and some forgettable desserts. The food was below average and the service was lazy. Our waiter tried very hard to up sell us and judging by what we did order we were glad we stuck to the Restaurant Week menu, which thankfully also included a glass of wine as we needed it to tolerated the mediocre food and service. Restaurant Week is supposed to whet one’s appetite so one is inclined to return to the restaurant again and order it’s full priced dinners, but we’re never going back. Instead we’ll spend our money in any one of a number of very good Hampton’s restaurant’s such as Southampton’s Red Bar or 75 Main, North Sea’s Coast Grill or East Hampton’s Nick and Tony’s. Delmonico’s is for those who have more money than taste and want to see or be seen. To be seen as chumps, in my opinion, that is.

Worst service I have ever experienced. Manager had no clue what was going on, and bartender didn’t care or notice that we weren’t enjoying our food. Overpriced food subpar service. I would never return.

Extremely disappointed with the overall restaurant. The service was poor. The waiter carried himself as if we are in an inexpensive diner. The food was OK, but the restaurant overall lacked the Hamprton Buzz. I would be surprised if they open their doors next summer.

First time at this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. Food is just ok service is awful! We were a group of 12 and two of the steaks were sent back. The strip steak was fatty. Poor cuts of beef. The tomato salad had a top and the end so two out of the four tomato slices were not eaten. Would not go back and would not recommend. I am giving it one star because the salmon was acceptable.

When we were driving up I was a bit confused because it is on the way to the Southampton train station. When we pulled up I saw how adorable it was ! Very pretty and decorated very well. The Scallops with meyer lemon were FANTASTIC, the mini wedge was very good as well. I did not have steak, but the woman next to me got a HUGE steak and it looked very good. The ambiance very nice — I took off a star because it is SOSOLOUD. they have no sound proofing and it was very loud and we went on the earlier side we could barely hear one another! I reccommend this restaurant. It is very expensive but hey ! Youre in the hamptons! The bar scene looked very fun too!!! There is like no parking in the back so you have to park on the street or at the train station.
