Went for lunch. We went around 12pm, our waitress was unprepared wearing flip-flops hair down looked disheveled and using her cell phone before greeting us. Walked up took our order and left, 15 mins later other guests were seated and she was much more put together greeted them and told them the specials. We were disappointed in not hearing them. Food was well prepared and the atmosphere was nice. Our waitress was much more friendly as we ordered desert. My advice is dont be the first guest in the restaurant even if it is an hour after they open.

A group of us went on Saturday for dinner, drinks and fun. I wouldn’t feed the food to a rat! Absolutely disgusting! When we mentioned it to the wait staff they were extremely rude! The ladies room literally had human feces all over the floor! I had to use the men’s room instead while my husband kept watch. The music(DJ) was absolutely terrible. I felt like we stepped back 20yrs. That’s ok to play here and there but not all night! Let’s not forget the«touchy feely» men on the dance floor who do not know the word«no»!The only reason I even gave this place 1 star is because of the bartenders and the hostess. They are the only ones in that place with manners and who provide good customer service!

Great atmosphere. Dining area in the back is opened up in the summer. BBQ burger is amazing and Spanish mussels. Friendly staff and we weren’t rushed.

Nice selection of beer-not fantastic but worth trying. The beer is always fresh and cold. The food is decent what you would expect from a clean pub.

Food tastes like it’s been sitting out for weeks and just reheated in a microwave. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone!

How did you run out of hummus. It’s just chick peas. Get on it southampton. Or someone else will eat your lunch.

Kenny’s – another semi-regular in our rotation – is Janus-faced, as other Unilocalers have noted. On some occasions, it feels like Avalon’s Princeton, everyone jam-packed, SRO, and partying like there’s no tomorrow. A very positive, energizing vibe. On other occasions, Kenny’s is almost sleepy, with diners quietly enjoying their meals while a breeze from open windows wafts over them and the potted palmettos sway. Both scenarios are deeply appealing here. As for food, my personal favorite is the spicy turkey burger, which Kenny’s has managed to perfect. Flawlessly seasoned and grilled, and it is always moist. Nothing worse than a turkey-flavored hockey puck(as so many restaurant turkey burgers are). Meanwhile, Mr. M loves the all-you-can-eat crab legs. when available, and the regular beef burgers. The regular fries are better-than-average while the sweet potato fries are extraordinary.

Fish tacos were horrible-mostly all lettuce, cheese and avacado, with tiny piece of fish. Slow service & the place was empty. Sat by open windows and bees kept coming in and going in our drinks! Will never go back

Who is the brunette waitress with the fake hipster glasses, with tinsle coming out of her hair and an attitude which leaves a lot to be desired? This is the second time I’ve gone to lunch with my mother there and we both felt as though we were an inconvenience to her. She was short with us, rude, and didn’t check in to see if we needed anything once our meals were brought to our table. In short, she needs to learn how to serve and keep a customer coming back to an establishment such as Kenny’s. She should check her attitude at the door… as well as those fake hipster glasses.

I have updated my review to reflect my more recent experiences at Kenny’s, including the changes to the menu. Around the start of the year, I was told that a new chef had arrived, and that a new menu would soon follow. My excitement quickly died when I saw the menu, which was a fraction of the original’s size. The new menu kept a few of its main items, like the hamburger. Others, like the chili appetizer, were altered only minimally. And then there were a few new lackluster items. But otherwise, the options had shrunk from a full-sized menu to a one-sided, placemat-sized list. Additionally, the specials were no longer offered. My previous review praised the restaurant’s cozy atmosphere, particularly the bar’s, while criticizing the quality of the food. I now find to food to be even more tasteless than it was previously. Certain dishes seem sloppily prepared. My hamburger, for instance, came with a small bag of chips, a rather tacky accompaniment compared to the original(and larger) chips that had previously been included on the side of my dish. While these changes were disappointing but bearable, what upset my family and I most was our final weekly trip to Kenny’s. An entrée price on the menu apparently conflicted with the actual cost, according to our waiter, who had delivered us this information directly from the kitchen. Rather than accept his condescending offer to speak to a manager, we footed the extra cost and unanimously decided to use our latest bad experience as an excuse to bid Kenny’s farewell for good.

Just awful. The service was mediocre, she never came around to check on us even once. We had the calamari, mussels, and wings. The calamari was tough, chewy and super thin and also lacked flavor. The broth of the mussel was good, however it took a little bit to find the mussel because they were the size of dimes. I’m not sure how you can mess up anything deep fried but even the wings were awful. They were fried with no seasoning and slightly brushed with sauce. The food was disappointing, but the service just made it that much worse. She didn’t even bother to ask us how the food was when came by. I’ve been there for drinks before, but won’t returning after today’s event.

Decent service terrible food. We have been customers of this restaurant since its grand reopening back in 2009. This was one of our favorite restaurants. I am really discouraged to have to report that Kenny’s food is now subpar. The menu has changed so many times and the quality of the food keeps going down. I am very saddened by this. Even the atmosphere is changed. The restaurant used to be upbeat and filled with customers. It is now is almost empty I used to order the onion soup but now the cheese is never melted. Their recipe for crabcakes seems to have changed. They used to put a lot more crab in them and now it seems to be a lot more breading. Forget the bloody Mary’s because they’re water down. I can’t even give this restaurant more than one star because I can’t fathom going back again. We gave them so many chances with each menu and they failed each time.

We have been here several times, each time Kenny’s has had a new and improved menu, while the food has gotten progressively worse! Last night I ordered the salmon and it was a hockey puck! I couldn’t even cut through it with a fork. My husband had the chicken with a cream sauce he described as the consistency of milk… I give it 2 stars because we had great service from our waitress! We won’t be going back.

Ate at Kenny’s last night. We had the shrimp dinner and pork chop. The food was great. It was a little noisy but that was to be expected

This place is ok. They didn’t have many local beers on tap and the food was just ok. The turkey burger was frozen and pre made which was disappointing for the price. I would probably pass for a diner instead. The service was ok but nothing special.

No. This place is not where you want to be on a Friday or Saturday night. I’ve had more problems in my four or five visits here than I’ve had at places I’ve been going to for years. My phone was even stolen right off the bar one night never to be seen again. Not only do they pack the place with ignorant patrons, but they have cover charge for guys? are you kidding me? I will never return to Kenny’s.

Today, my hubby and I decided to drop by Kenny’s on recommendation of «good wings» after driving by it for almost two years … should have stopped in sooner! Wings were great, a burger with broccoli rabe, mushrooms, onions and horseradish, awesome! and shepard’s pie, excellent, with a good balance of meat, veggies and mashed potatoes. Service was prompt and corteous. Now onto the entertainment! We had no idea but apparently they have live entertainment on Sunday evening(not sure about other days) so we stumbled upon a blues group called Steve Guyger, a bunch of 1st class musicians and singers. What a treat! These guys look like they have been around, and boy do they know their stuff! Perhaps not for 20-some year olds but it was perfect for us and a lot of other middle-aged aficionados. If you enjoy jazz and blues, there is no need to track down to Atlantic City’s House of Blues, these guys were just as good! Remember Zanzibar at the Bellevue in Center City? We enjoyed this group at Kenny’s just as much, and it’s within a ten minute drive from our house. We will happily return! P. S. Just to be clear, I am not in the habbit of giving out 5 stars but I was really blown away by the whole atmosphere. Kudos to Kenny’s!

Three words — Pumpkin Pie Martini!!! Holy cow — it was awesome :) I also had an amazing crab bisque and a few appetizers. Finished dinner up with an apple cake that was warm and awesome. If you can’t tell — we were perfectly happy with the food and drinks :) The atmosphere is great too, the location good and the staff super friendly and prompt. This is a great spot to stop for a happy hour or a quiet dinner on a Sunday night.
