We were not impressed in anyway. It was the worst experience ever. The shumai came out cold. We tried to send it back but the waitress was on her cell phone. And we couldn’t get a second glass of wine because again she was on her cell phone. we got fed up. When we asked the other waitress for our check she said hold on your waitress is taking a nap upstairs. They have them doing doubles and obviously they have a sleeping pad upstairs. So we finally got the check and we left an 18% tip. Then the waitress came up and had the nerve to ask was everything okay. It should be called hello on Mount Fuji !!!

Visiting Mount Fuji Its almost like your in your own home the booths are a fun place to sit having to remove your shoes it becomes more cozy. My only issue is it sometimes lacks the freshness of the fish it’s a hit or miss. The service is sometimes kind sometimes not but in general it’s a place that is its own. A great place to have fun with friends or family. Would I go back, sure why not it’s not many places like this in the Hamptons. It’s still a find you must visit

Not a fan. Really pricey and the rolls are unimpressive and lack diversity. Plus it took forever to get service.

I came here hoping for a friendly staff and good food but I got the opposite. The prices were decent, not overpriced. However the service was awful. The waitress never came up to us and we had to grab random people to ask for drink refills. The food wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t the worst. All in all, I would not return here.

Well to start off this place is the only place I could have decent sushi around the Hamptons. When my friend and I walked in there was another couple standing beside us who literally had to yell out to the server/hostess to come and pick up their check because she was busy on FaceTime. I mean are you kidding me?! You’re working! They looked dissatisfied but I gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. When we sat down the server gave us our menus and took our orders. Everything arrived fine but let me tell you the service was so bad I hate it even more than the last time I went. This place is hanging by a thread and that thread is only the sushi. That’s it. There’s nothing else that adds to this place. It’s dirty and has terrible service. There were flies all around us and our food the entire time we were eating. Yuck!

We have been loyal customers of this restaurant for years, with only wonderful experiences, from hospitality to the food. Unfortunately, the experience on Saturday on Memorial Day weekend destroyed our feeling towards this restaurant. They sat us at a booth, only two of us and then there was discussion of moving us, then decided not to up-root us. as my wife has medical needs to digestive issues, they always replace one item on the dinner selection with another. that night the waitress argued with us, that they never did this and refused to accommodate. we rejected the order which caused an uproar. which we asked, ‘do they always argue with customers’ they claimed they were not arguing, to which then why aren’t they helping to make a long time customer happy. another uproar with the manager accommodating but we were charged a premium for this accommodation. to add injury to insult, my wife was violently ill the next day. only suspect bad fish from this restaurant. will never go back, will never recommend. too many other restaurants to choose from to be subjected to this abuse

Very good sushi but just lazy, take it for granted service. Five of us went for dinner and had a lovely dinner, with the exception of the waitress clattering dishes in our faces, generally being a sourpuss, and forgetting to bring a king crab roll that I ordered. When the check came, they charged a full 20% tip and said we had a group of six. I protested, but I figured the difference between 15% and 20% wasn’t worth the trouble and I would just warn future diners. In summary, come for the food which is good. But expect terrible, disinterested servers and watch the guaranteed tip.

Had a early dinner with my cousin yesterday here, I think this is one of the best Japanese in a long time, everything was so fresh and everyone work there was super nice, with the quality of the food, I think the price is very good as well.

This is the best sushi in the Hamptons. Super fresh and interesting rolls. Nothing will disappoint here.

One of the best sushi spots in the area. The sushi is always fresh. A little overpriced, but that’s to be expected in the area.

Very average in terms of food and atmosphere, but the kind of place locals, ie my uncles, would flock to. The Hamptons were never a great place for sushi.

Needed Dinner close to my hotel and the concierge recommended this place. Turned to be a good place after all. Good food with fast service, loved the ambient setting.

If you are familiar with Japanese taste, you will be a little disappointed. But if you are not, I think it will be just good enough to resolve your meal on the way. Considering the food quality you will find their food prices are set too high. They also charge 20% tips without asking you.

For good sushi, you don’t go to the Hamptons. But if you live there(yikes) your sushi expectations go down a notch or two and Mt. Fuji will do just fine. The fish quality is actually pretty good, but the options are a bit limited and not super creative. And it’s pretty pricey. They have other standard non-sushi Japanese fare like udon, gyoza, etc which is decent. It’s a nice place to dine in, it’s clean and spacious and while the décor is a little dates and kind of kitschy Japanese, it’s comfortable and the service is pretty good.

Very basic Japanese. Surprisingly not very many vegetarian/vegan options, which is unusual for a restaurant with a sushi bar. We got the tofu teriyaki with steamed tofu. They were stingy with the vegetables. The green roll was quite good, though. It served its purpose and I would still go back in a pinch.

I absolutely LOVED this place. The sushi is the very best I’ve ever had! I ordered the spicy tuna and just ugh it was so good. My boyfriend ordered the Batman role, chicken negi maki and fried ice cream. I, of course, had to have a taste of his food too! Hehehe! The donburi is also deliciiiiiious! It’s a pretty large serving so I didn’t finish it! But I definitely took it home with me! Yum~! For desert I had the mango-flavored mochi and I loved it. I definitely want to taste the other 3 flavors! The service is very prompt, punctual and polite. Whenever we finished a plate they would kindly take it from us, and when I couldn’t stuff anymore donburi into my belly, she offered to pack it for me(to which I happily accepted the offer!), and gave us ample time to decide whether or not we wanted desert(despite being overstuffed, I definitely made the room for dessert!). She didn’t badger us at all and that is always a pleasant surprise when going out to a restaurant. I would definitely drive out to Southampton just to eat here again.

Literally one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. My expectations were somewhat high as I had read the reviews below and thus was looking forward to a great lunch! This place is not far from my job and works as a great location to go to for my lunch hour. Let’s start with the food: I ordered Sushi, my brother ordered their cooked salmon. Both of my rolls were quite large(a plus) and looked appetizing, unfortunately the tuna was flavorless, the rice was undercooked, and it was all-together bland. It was supposed to have a siracha mayo on it that was certainly not present. My brother’s salmon was inedible — if the server had bothered to check back he would have sent it back. The service was deplorable: we waited a considerable ammount of time for our food and then once it arrived the server dropped the plates, got us a second round of sodas, and then disappeared. My brother had to go back to the kitchen to find our server when we wanted the bill(there was noone present in the restaurant at all the entire time we were there.) When I first arrived there were many cars int he parking lot and I took this as a good sign. I then found out that the local business nextdoor to this restaurant parks in the Mount Fuji parking lot. There was not a single table the entire time we were there(I guess they know better than to waste their time and $ here.) Lastly, our bill was over $ 80 for our four sodas, two sushi rolls, and 1 salmon entrée.. . I typically don’t mind spending $ on food and sushi can be expensive. .. but when it’s inedible, it’s a problem. Do yourself a favor, DONOTGOHERE!

The sushi here tastes better than any of the Nobu’s east and west coast. I sit at the sushi bar and ask the sushi chefs whats fresh. This place gets a ton of take out orders but if you become friendly with the people here you get your own chop sticks displayed proudly on the wall. Everything fried here is beyond delicious. Including but not limited to the fried ice cream… om nom nom.
