The food has always been great — been going here since they opened about 20 years ago. To the fella who complained about the staff being.“little silly girls with their tits and asses hanging out.” I say that’s even more reason to eat in! Seriously? Great food AND eye candy! That’s a winner for me!!!

Our daughter, son-​in-​law and two grandchildren moved to California last year. They were Red Star Pizza lovers. Each time we go to visit, we take six pizzas in our carry-​on luggage! The grandkids’ new friends now know what good pizza is!

The service was slow the people who worked there were not friendly toward my daughter who is 3 and chatty they acted annoyed. The food was ok noting special. They put there children’s candy machines by a swinging door as my door was looking at the candy someone walked out and the door and the door crashed into my daughter head, pshe began crying and was in pain nobody came over to offer any help. I called later to complain the manager was nice but my poor daughter head was black and blue for a few days. Whoever left that machine next to the door is crazy and someone could have been seriously hurt.

Absolutely the BEST pizza in South Jersey the area! Seating area is very nice… Not restaraunt nice, but for a pizza place thats primarily takeout, its very nice. I eat there with my family very often.

not so good. we ordered an onion pizza last night and it just was terrible. I wish I would have gotten a store-​bought frozen pie, it would have been better. Really disappointed.

The food is amazing, the staff are nothing but dead heads and little silly girls with their tits and asses hanging out. It’s clear where the owners mind is. I love, I mean LOVE the food, but EVERY SINGLE TIME we order from there, the order is never right, EVER. The manager/​owner only says, «oh, my bad» never compensates. If it weren’t such good food, I wouldn’t go back. Hire some adults and get rid of the ass grabbing, silly giggling staff. Peoples food is not something to play with. Be serious and take your customers serious. Make you teeny bopping staff wear clothes that cover up their tits and asses. It’s a family restaurant, not hooters for Christ’s sake.

Can’t imagine why this place has such high ratings, (one of the reasons I gave it a try). After reading the rave reviews about the pizza, I gave it a try. I ordered sausage with peppers and onions. Got back to the office with my lunch and was so disappointed when I opened the box. Black char around the outer crust of the pizza, and bottom of crust dark brown. Didn’t have much more time on lunch break so I tried a piece. As expected, it was too crunchy, but the crust was also very thin, doubt I would have liked it even if it wasn’t BURNT. Also, all of the extras I ordered were VERY finely chopped, no satisfying chunks of sausage, peppers and onions. What a let down! Not sure why they would send me home with a pizza that was clearly overcooked, but I would never go back.

Love Red Star. I have been getting Pizza and Sandwiches here for over 10 years and never been disappointed. There a lot of good pizza places in the area, but this one is one of the best. Very authentic and always great quality.

Great people and great pizza! The owner Vito just recently expanded the restaurant.
You can get a quick bite or have waiter/​waitress service. Service is quick and friendly. I highly recommend the Buffalo chicken pizza or cheese steak pizza. Plus I love the fact that they have Pepsi products. I gotta have my Mtn Dew! A local favorite, so if you are in the area this is the place to stop.

Food and service is good. It’s on the high end for pizza, but you know what you’re getting when you go here. Their specialty pizza is far superior to the plain pies, but at a whopping $ 7 – 8 more.
