I’ve been going to Inga to get my highlights and cut done when I first moved to the area. And stayed with her for about 4 years. Until I became a hairstylist myself. She is a great talent and a smart woman. I can honestly say that inspired me to become a hair stylist. And now I do what I really love. Thank you Inga! Miss you!

Let me first say that my review is based on the conversation I had w/the receptionist. I never got the chance to actually visit the salon.
Ok so I was out today and saw this lady who’s highlights I REALLY liked. Exchanged info and called Studio 454. I was sooo excited! I ask the receptionist if they had anyone there that had experience with ethnic curly hair and she was very abruptly like no sorry. Ooookay. Like really? It’s almost 2013 and you’re telling me none of your stylists have EVER had a client that didn’t have any other hair besides that of silk? I was like ok and preceded to explain to the receptionist that I saw this lady and I really loved her highlights and she referred me to Studio 454. I even told her that the lady who referred me stylist was named Leslie. She then again was like no sorry. Who does that!!! And then there was this awkward silence as if she was like is that it. I mean as a potential paying customer at least suggest that I come in and let someone take a look at my hair. She didnt even put me hold to ask Leslie herself if it was something she thought she could do. I have honestly never felt so discriminated against before over the friggin phone! The conversation ended by me just hanging up and shaking my smh at the non professionalism that’s displayed there.

A WEIRD???
So I called this salon for once again, HAIR EXTENSIONS. After a long wait on hold the receptionist came back on the line and said, «do you want temporary or permanent» I told her permanent. She proceeded to ask me if I ever had extensions before?
Um, What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?
Yes, I told her, OK back on hold…
Hello, We aren’t doing them now.
–Huh? What kind of Salon does extensions some of the time? Better yet who has a receptionist answering calls ABOUT a salon not know if they do extensions?
Sounds like something Shady to me.
