I have bought a 4 door stainless steel refrigerator and a 5 burner convection oven stove at the Southaven store… later I bought a Serta mattress and a Dell laptop… these purchases were made when Shane was the appliance mgr and I got great service each time… I went in a couple of weeks ago looking to purchase a Dyson vacuum, a countertop convection oven and another Serta mattress… the woman who waited on me acted like she was strung out on meth… talking so fast I could hardly understand her and tapping her pen on a clipboard like crazy… looked like she might weigh 100 lbs… she didn’t know anything about any of the items I was looking for and was NO help at all… and when I started to walk away she turned and went out the door to go out and smoke a cigarette… no one there knew anything about Shane so I’m guessing they are all new since he was there… I was SO disappointed… I’m trying to find another hh Gregg location close to Southaven (Memphis would be great altho farther for me to drive… I’m from Arkansas)…the Southaven store looked so different from the last time I was there about 1 ½ years ago… and not in a good way… sorry for this review but I’m hoping it might help make a difference and get this store back on track… I used to look forward to shopping there… thank you… B

This store is a joke. The sales clerk was rude and acted like we were putting her out. They tried to charge us incorrectly and the sales clerk wasn’t smart enough to follow the correct information on how to fix the problem. The store manager wasn’t much better. I would not go back to this store for any reason. They really don’t deserve one star.

Would love to give stars but not deserved! 1 is not deserved but can’t give 0! Purchased lg washers and dryers from them 9 – 2012 and 2 – 2013. (Purchased them separate days). Purchased extended plan cause we were told anything happens and they will fix it free of charge. Our washer inlet valve broke and even though that’s mechanical were told its not covered??? But was told by lady on phone only mechanical and electrical was covered but salespeople are saying anything and everything is covered. Still not sure why they won’t cover since its mechanical! Don’t buy extended plans from them cause they won’t honor them. 400 wasted on plans that seem useless and worthless!!!

I wouldn’t call this store an electronic store. hhgregg should be selling strictly appliances. The only good thing was their selection of TVs.

I think these big box stores are a dying breed. They’ve sort of become ‘showrooms’ for the internet, as evidenced by the recent closing of 50 Best Buy stores. Having said that, I always seem to find a bargain here. May be due to the fact that it has low traffic. Seems like I’m one of only a few people there every time I visit. I’m pulling for it to succeed which is why I try to patronize when I can.

This is a first impression from a very short visit. This is a new chain electronics store in the area and has taken over some old Circuit City locations. Me and a friend dropped in at lunchtime to pick up some blank DVD’s. The store seemed kind of sparse, not much merchandise. A salesman handed us a form we had to have to buy something. It took a minute to find where the DVD’s were and we picked up what we needed. Then we looked for a cash to pay at. It seemed like there was only one cash and the line up for it was rather long. Since I did not want to wait what looked like quite a while, we dumped the stuff and left. We went around the corner and bought EXACTLY the same thing for $ 3 less. No wait at the cash, and out of there in 5 minutes.
I don’t know what the form was for unless it was to collect personal information.
