Memphis Pizza Cafe 5

The pizza here is good, but I have an issue with being nickeled and dimed for things like ranch dressing when you’re spending pretty good money for food. It comes in huge gallons, or, more likely, they mix it up themselves in the back of the restaurant. They don’t sell beer by the pitcher, so they are getting every extra penny they can by charging by the glass. The waitresses aren’t very good, but they’re young so I don’t expect much. Overall, if you don’t mind being squeezed for every penny they can get out of you, it’s a decent place to eat.

I just had the best veggie, gluten free pizza ever. I’ve tried several different places and this is by far the best one around. The salads are awesome too!!. The severs are always fast and friendly So, if you in the mood for a salad, pizza or sandwich, stop in Memphis pizza café. You won’t be disappointed!!! Tell them Phyllis sent you. That really won’t matter anyway, unless you tell them Sophia’s mom.

Went during a rush hour and got our food within 10 – 15 minutes. Almost 5 stars and hope to come back to give it full 5 star. Delicious thin pizza and cheese sticks. Wanted salad but they said it would take very long to get them and we were on a time crunch. Friend is a vegetarian and they have a good cheese sandwich.

Wasn’t super impressed. The pizza was fine but the service wasn’t great. It looked like there were only two waitresses for the whole place and I’m pretty sure one of them was brand new.

Tried it for the first time and it was great. I got the pepperoni and green olive pizza and it had a great taste. The atmosphere is really chill. Don’t be surprised if the waiters call you «dude» while waiting on your table. Super nice and attentive staff.

Great food, family environment, good service. Will be coming back. The veggie pizza was loaded with veggies. I love the crust.

Memphis Pizza Café has the best, most unique BBQ chicken pizza ever. Period. Another one of my favorites is the ultimate cheese, oh and the alternative with sun dried tomatoes vs fresh. Their sandwiches never disappoint either. I normally have good service, fast, and the staff isn’t ‘in your face’. Also, I heard that at any given time Memphis Pizza Café employes about half of the city’s musicians.

Best Pizza in this area!!! By far. Good service and nice Beer selection. For a Pizza joint, needs to stay open a little later on weekends — 11:30pm.

Good pizza, wish salads where bigger… we can always get in and out no problems. We have had a few end of the season sports team parties in their private room. It is a great space with lots of seating to accomadate a large group. Service is always nice as well…

First time customer, I ordered online and when I got there, someone had forgotten to turn in my order. They seemef humiliated and fell all over themselves to make it right and they surely did so!
They pizza was excellent and the service was even better! I will be back, great bunch of employees!

Has been a favorite of mine since we moved here this summer. Really like the topping choices and love the idea of being able to order any pizza you want by the slice. The hot sandwiches are great too!

This place is an amazing place to go if you like think pizza crust. So it is the right place for me. This pizza is outstanding. I had their veggie lovers pizza and all the ingredients are fresh and you can taste it.
I went to the shop in Southaven and I have to say it’s easy to miss. This little joint in the strip mall on the side is not the most visible shop ever. I have had their pizza before and was just plain happy when I ate it. As a German I am used to very traditional italian pizza with thin and crispy crust. Here in America I got the impression the thicker and soggier the curst the better… BUT please people don’t consider that good unless you are at street corner in New York, because then it’s part of the culture. Anyhow, back to the Pizza Café. I can’t tell you how yummy it is. They also have subs and salads but I think if you go to a place called Pizza Café you should get pizza. They offer slices and pies in all sizes. The price if fair considering the product you will get in the end. It’s not a 10 $ carry out deal like other places, but you do get exactly what you pay for.
I can only give it 4 stars though because the best pizza I ever had was in Warsaw, I know funny. But that Pizza deserved 5 stars. However, Memphis Pizza Café is in my opinion the best Pizza in the greater Memphis area (maybe best pizza I had here in America) but not as good as the one in Warsaw! ;-)

Memphis Pizza Café has quickly become one stop shop for pizza in Southaven. They have taken the fast food, slap it together approach that most pizza joints have these days and thrown it out the window. Every pizza and salad I have order there has the taste of high quality and free ingredients. I highly recommend the Alternative Pizza (olive oil, mozzarella, crushed basil, garlic, fresh tomato, and no sauce) and the Greek Salad (pepperoni, black olives, pepperoncini and crumbled feta cheese).
