Got their absolute lightest mens shoe to see what I’d think of it compared to my babies, the Brooks T#* Racer. Let’s go straight to the statdown:
BROOKS T7 RACER
(Unisex) 181.436 948 grams = 6.4 ounces
12 millimeter heel drop
Laces prone to coming undone; I suggest double knots.

(Mens /​Unisex) 138 grams = 4.867 807 ounces
(Womens) 118 grams = 4.162 328 ounces
0 heel drop, «barefoot» style
Laces stay tied better.
For my wide & short feet, both shoes are COMFORTABLE straight out the box. I’m a size 9 in the T7 and an 8.5 in the RXT.
Both models run similarly as well. The amount of HEEL DROP is inconsequential to me once I’m in motion since I don’t heel strike.
The MASS difference is significant on paper, yet it isn’t vastly noticeable when holding a pair of shoes in each hand. Same goes for when I’m running with each model.
I think the BOTTOM LINE is that you may notice the difference between these models if you land on your heels when you run. Other than that, it comes down to color preference and whether you want to pay $ 85 for ~181 grams /​6.4 ounces (T7) vs $ 110 for 138 grams /​~4.9 ounces (RXT).
*The model # increases every few years. I run the current T7, but I started with T5 or T4.
