Art Van Furniture

I gave two stars because I like most of the furniture. However, the Southfield location has bad service. I was on the hunt for a dining room set… has spotted one in Novi, which I really loved, but was still unsure. I went to the Greenfield (SF) location to view the set, but they didn’t carry it (I realized that different sites carry different styles of furniture, depending on their customer base). I got no assistance, despite the fact that I was in the store for more than a half an hour.
However, because I saw some other interesting pieces, I decided to return to the Greenfield location with my mom. Once again, we were not even assisted. I guess because I wasn’t dressed to the nines or had boobs spilling out of my blouse that I wasn’t assisted. Most of the staff seemed to be loitering by the Customer Service area or helping other people. Yet, here I was, ready to spend money.
Eventually, one saleswoman DID approach me, but that was as I was leaving the store. She saw that I was pissed and apologized. Too late. I’ll spend my money at the Novi location, where I was well-​taken care of. In fact, I have spent over $ 3,000 in the past two months at the Novi store. Their service is excellent and my salesman, Mito, is a gem.
I plan on getting more furniture, for I need end-​tables and some bedroom furniture as well. Guess which store is going to miss THAT sales opportunity?

So I’m in the market for a bedroom suite. I am so the bargain shopper that I command the bargain God to go before and discount the deals deeper and to point me in the direction of them. I like getting a lot for a little and I am so patient that I can put things together in my mind and purchase items when I see them that will match. Deeply discounted of course.
So there it is. The deal of the day! A hand carved mahogany wood headboard for $ 57 bucks. That’s no type-​o. FIFTY-​SEVEN BUCKS! I’m sold. The rails are missing but I can pick those up from any thrift furniture store. Cool. I find my sales person, he rings me up and then informs me they have the matching foot board for $ 20. YES $ 20 BUCKS! This bed set retails for $ 899. With the rails I may come out an additional $ 50 bucks but who cares? I still saved like $ 759 bucks. Gotta love the clearance center. Head straight to the back of the store upon arrival.
This store also boast a Kiddie Kingdom to keep the kid’s busy while you shop. This playset is humongous! Really, it is. All the better for me to shop and my son to play! The staff was pretty prompt upon my entrance and not annoying.
