The driving range at Beech Woods Golf Course in Southfield is one of the few in the area that has grass tees in summer, from about Memorial Day until about Labor Day, which I greatly prefer over hitting off artificial grass. It is open all winter with heated tees. An advantage during cold weather is the range faces east, so golfers using the heated tees usually are protected from prevailing wind from the west. I have always found the staff friendly and cordial. The range is adjacent to the City of Southfield’s 9 hole Beech Woods golf course.

I was a customer for two months and received terrible treatment during this time. I purchased a groupon voucher and they didn’t honor the purchase and gave me several lame excuses for not doing so. They were awful to deal with and have no sense of customer care. Unfortunately they are the only heated tee range in the area, but it’s not worth it for me to go there any more.
