The first time I came here it was good. Ordered subs for the family tonight and they were awful. Not fresh at all. Lettuce was old, tomatoes were gross. No mayo and bread was not as good as it usually is. Will not come back here again and this is usually my favorite sub place. This is the first time I’ve had an issue. The one in Novi on grand river is always fresh. The owner of this one should hire some new people that know how to make a good sandwich. My 5 year old could have done a better job. Definitely lost my business. I love the drive through feature too. But will not come back to this location. SUCKED!

ordered online here on a very slow sunday afternoon. i waited about 5 minutes after ordering to go inside and pick it up. once i went in i was greeted by the gentleman and i told him i had an online order and he laughs, and states«well, we gotta make it first.» how about that’s why i ordered online?! there were two people behind the counter and when i got in there neither of them were doing anything besides checking their phones. the point of an online order is so i can walk in and out. i waited about 5 minutes to get my sub. not fast like jimmy johns should be! it should take 2 minutes tops to make a sub, especially considering it’s not toasted or anything special! get it together people. maybe this location should hire more older mature people who can actually take their jobs serious. 2 stars for the sub only, 0 points for customer service.

I used to work at a jimmy johns in iowa for almost three years and i love their food. I moved here recently and ordered from this store for the first time today. I used the app on my phone to order and was pretty excited and expecting a fast delivery. After about 30 minutes it still wasnt here and i was like wtf but before i knew it the manager was calling me and he said that his drivers engine overheated on the way here. He said he could get a replacement but didnt know how long it would take and asked if i still wanted my order. I said yup and then he told me it would be free which i was not expecting! The manager was very polite on the phone and i believed him and shit and was impressed by the customer service at that point despite still being pissed about the fact that i was still waiting. again, the manager(i think his name was justin? maybe) wAs super cool and polite. So another 40 minutes go by and i get mysandwich finally. ITWASDANKASFUCK. I had all kinds of special changes added to it(i worked there, so i know what i like) and it was perfect they got everything right. it still tasted pretty damn fresh and it was PERFECT!!! It was definitely worth the wait(as long as it was REALLY just a car problem this ONE time but still freaky fast in the future [and yes i WILL be ordering from them again in the future(and leaving FATASS tips if theyre quick)}). So yes i would recommend, i would like to give them more than 3 stars but, ya know. This was my first time writing a Unilocal review or even using the service but i felt like doing one for jimmy johns because theyre awesome! –sherriff paul

No more! This locale has really gone down hill. Yesterday my bill was $ 18.00(total) & it was a complete waste of money. I was leary of getting lunch here again, because the messed up my delivery last time, and I should’ve skipped it for sure. The sandwich was super skimpy, the pickle tasted gross, my cookie was broken and crumbly, my soft drink was not diet, their Jimmy chips are just plain gross, and to add insult to all the above named injuries, they wouldn’t honor my two free extra sides that the manager had given me the last time they screwed up, because I had waited too long… hmmm…well…if I never go back here, it’ll be too soon…

I like Jimmy John sandwiches and when I’m back home in Chicago the Jimmy Johns I go to the service is quick and efficient. I went to this Jimmy Johns since it was close to the hotel to get my usual #4 Turkey Tom. What amazed me was after I placed my order instead of working on my sandwich right away the 3 staff people there was just talking and goofing around. It was about after 5 minutes or so they finally put together my sandwich. I was the only person in the store ordering. There was another guy who was sitting at one of the tables eating. So it was not like Jimmy Johns was being swamped with customers. Bottom line: good sandwiches but compared to other Jimmy Johns I have been to the customer service is poor.

I just used jimmy johns to cater a lunch with 15 people today. They were able to get the order complete within 20 minutes. The deli delivery driver went to wrong address. I asked for mayo and mustard on side and they forgot to include that in order. When I called and asked them to send someone back to delivery the condiments, they said ok but only sent 6 packets of mayo and 6 packets of mustard for 2 sandwich trays that serves 15 – 20 ppl. They also do not have any plates… They said people use a napkin. Not very classy or presentable. Price is good and they are timely, but service is not their thing!

I absolutely love Jimmie John’s, but this location does not do the brand justice. I’ve ordered delivery from this location twice, and neither time was freaky fast… or fast at all. The first time, my order came 50 minutes after I ordered. By the time I got my order, I was practically in tears from hunger. Now, I understand it was pouring rain and they only had one delivery driver, but at least call to let me know it’s going to be awhile. Your company prides itself on being freaky fast. The second time, I was 45 minutes into waiting for my order when I did get a call that I was going to get my sandwich soon… okay good at least a call. 10 minutes later, no sandwich so I called and the driver happened to pick up… and he proceeded to explain that someone broke into his car and stole the sandwiches while he was making the delivery before ours. Omfg… are you kidding me? Lock your car, you’re in Southfield! I cancelled the order, and we drove there ourselves to get our sandwiches. Store was messy, and STILL the service was slow. Goodness, I feel bad for the brand that this location exists. I will not be spending my money here again.

I use to come here a couple times after school until one time I walked in and they were in such a rush they slapped everything on my sub, forgetting the mayo and they dont even wear hair nets so thanks to that I had a hair in my sub. NEVERGOINGBACK.

First time at Jimmy Johns and boy the commercial was right«Freaky Fast» lol. The staff was pleasant and definitely accommodating to my lack of JJ’s lingo. The sandwiches have a great deal of meat and the french bread is really tasty. Expect to spend about $ 8 on a combo(pop or water with chips or a cookie). Not a long wait and they deliver for about .50/item. Yes per item. A great alternative to Subway, just don’t expect the grilling on the hot sandwiches as there is no microwave or toaster at Jimmy John’s.

This is the Jimmy John’s closest to where I used to live. You walk in the door and they scream greetings at you just like at other Jimmy John’s. It’s never busy and I was usually the only person in here. The staff was fast and efficient and got me the correct order quickly. I’ve never had any problems here. The place is always spotless, too. As good as a Jimmy John’s can get.
