Love this place. I had them come out today on a very short notice. Outstanding customer service. No complaints. My carpet looks amazing.

RUINEDCARPET! I’ve used Steve Hagopian for many years & been happy with the results. I have lived in my present condo for the past 5 years & arranged to have my carpet«freshened up» every 12 – 18 months. Our carpet is actually never dirty & our usual technician has acknowledged that it was very good quality carpeting & cleaned well. In November of last year, I made an appointment to have the carpet«freshened» in preparation for holiday activities, including our annual Open House & a 2-week visit from an Australian relative. I should have realized we were in trouble when the technician who arrived on Nov. 27 didn’t think he needed to put on shoe covers because«I’m cleaning the carpet». It took a long time for the carpet to dry & when it did, the usual gold color was dingy with areas of dark patches & crunchy underfoot. We called to complain & the problem was diagnosed over the phone as «brown out» & another technician was sent out on Dec. 5 to resolve the problem. Well, that didn’t work, still leaving the carpet with obvious darkened areas. The manager came out & acknowledged the situation, took photos & said he was going to consult with a carpet cleaning expert. At this point, we could not delay our holiday decorating & hoped that with dim lights & good company no one would focus on the carpet. After a brief post-holiday trip, the manager came out personally on Jan. 13 for the«miracle» treatment which would restore the carpet to its original condition, although by this time, it was looking rather thread-bare & some seams were starting to show. BUT the treatment made the situation even worse, leaving it with hugh triangular shaped darkened patches & deep rake marks, making it look even more worn. After another call, the manager & a technician came out to inspect on Jan. 18, & even the technician said he’d never seen anything like it. The manager thought they could try another treatment but, at this point, I said enough is enough & we had to discuss replacing the damaged carpeting. The manager took more photos showing that damage existed throughout the entire carpeted areas of the house. He continued to acknowledge there was a problem but didn’t know how to fix it. He requested we take no action in making a claim until he checked to see what he could do. After several weeks of having no response to phone calls or emails, we were finally put in touch with the owner today who stated that they weren’t going to compensate us & to «do what we had to do». We had sent photos & an estimate for carpet replacement($ 6000), but now we will be forced to take legal action. And we were never even reimbursed for the cost of the original carpet«cleaning»! The whole situation has caused a great deal of disruption & distress along with having an entire house of carpeting ruined.
