WSHJ 88.3

To keep my son occupied while in the car I often just pop in a DVD and he’s good. The station that is assigned to the DVD player is 88.3 FM, WSHJ. One day I turned on the radio without the DVD and I heard what sounded like a real radio station. I absolutely love Southfield High School’s station. THEY GET IT! No commercials because they station is funded through the state. No annoying DJ’s blasting a bunch of empty rhetoric on topics they know absolutely nothing about. No IRRITATING shout outs to the best baby daddy’s and baby mama’s. It is oh so refreshing to hear a variety of music without having to cringe at the lyrics. Don’t get me wrong, they play all sorts of music and including hip hop, «real» hip hop. You know anything before the bling era. I have two favorite stations and this is one!
