My family absolutely loves this place. The owners are awesome, and the kid classes are great. The owners Dr. G and Lori along with Vic and Todd are great people. They treat everyone like family, and keep in contact with events and scheduling changing. We have three children enrolled here; ages 5,11,& 14. They have been with the academy for almost 2 years, and we have no complaints about our experience. Vic is an amazing coach for our children, and always makes sure they are being safe and using proper technique.
Most of all, we are thrilled with the changes we have seen in our kids. Our 14 year old is a girl, and since she started training under Vic, her confidence and self-​esteem have exploded. We know that with her training, we can send her out into the world, and she will be able to defend herself and take care of herself when we can’t be there.
Our other two children have also shown improvements in their self-​esteem and have made some really good friends through the academy.
I will always HIGHLY recommend this place for adults, but especially for children.

We enrolled our boys to see if they would enjoy Jiu Jitsu. We’ve tried Karate and it was a complete flop for them. I had to ddddrrrrraaaaaagggggg them out for classes and we eventually just quit going.
The instructor here is AMAZING with the kids. My boys are getting ready and reminding ME that it’s time for class. It’s not a lot of memorizing forms, or kicking bags. These kids get on the mat and really learn how to handle themselves. After the first month we are really pleased with what our kids are learning and that they are truly enjoying themselves.
There are several upcoming tournaments available for the students to join in.
They offer adult classes and even offer womens self defense each month. I attended the first class. The class was only $ 10 and made for a great ladies night out. We all left feeling more confident and comfortable.
This place is growing and I can’t wait for our boys to grow along with it.
