Just left there, PISSED !!! The waitstaff and the girls are pretty good. But; Some of the management don’t know what a customer is !!! Was there 5 weeks ago n gave a great Bach party for my friend. Dropped a few large. But now I will not be back n bad review to anyone who wants to know. If a customer bothers to calm down n tell what dissatisfied him, Maybe you should take it seriously n not make gestures. Your ego is more important than customer satisfaction. I am telling you what the problem was. You? «Don’t let that guy bother you«. Over n over. I raise my voice some once n say. Don’t tell me, tell him.(You know the employee with the strange sense of humor). Nothing else said, but you grab the«Pacifier» beer on the house n kick me out. Like I said Ego, Be-otch!

I’ve been here a few times with friends, and it’s typically a normal and mostly enjoyable experience for a Downriver stripclub. It’s much better than Henry VIII’s but will cost you a few extra dollars. I’ve only been there on a weekend night, where strippers are numerous and diverse. You will be haggled to death to spend extra money on private lap dances or very expensive drinks. It will cost you at least $ 6.50 for a bottle of beer. Sometimes, they announce bucket specials for $ 25, and getting six beers at a stripclub for that value is decent. About every 10 minutes, you’ll be approached by a tissue-chested waitress trying to sweet talk you into buying a $ 10 shot of watered down liquor. The ATM also charges a $ 15 service charge, but we always come prepared with cash to avoid this at all costs. The valet parking is annoying, because it’s not like this place is really that fancy. You can avoid this inconvenience by simply parking at any of the neighboring businesses. The strippers are much better here than at some other places, and like other places, if you have enough money, you can get whatever you want. I won’t go into those details. If you’re sitting near the stage, you may be told to tone it down if you start getting too touchy-feely with the girls. We saw a few people being escorted out. We were once approached by the bouncer, who told my group we needed to «settle down.» We were puzzled by this since we were the only group in there tossing any money around, but we did so since we weren’t ready to leave yet. The strippers always appear to be clean, smell nice, well groomed, and powdered up. They don’t have the 40-something year old strippers that Henry’s has, and all Subi’s strippers are young and highly attractive. Like any stripclub, it is possible to go there and not spend too much money. The price of the cover charge varies but isn’t too ridiculous.

This shithole, the owner was a complete arrogant ass when I was there and fired the waitress on sight bc there was a discrepancy over change owed to a customer — who was his friend, he didn’t even try to check and see if she was right or not. He claimed he gave her a $ 50. And she swears it was a $ 20. He was drinking and she wasn’t, just saying. I left after that. Bad vibes

Aha, Unilocal got me! I’m not a big frequenter of these kinda places(no, really, once is a blue moon), but this place is cool with me. Nice and cool and dark inside. A good place to beat the heat(I said«heat») and rush hour during the dog days of Summer. Wide variety of local girls. Everyone is friendly enough without necessarily going into«attack stripper» mode. No big intimidating security force in effect. The owner is always cool and says hi. They have valet parking, but there’s also street parking on the side of the building. I’m not a big lap-dance-guy, but your best bet is just to get a bucket of beers and hang out at a table at the stage. The girls appreciate the tips, and you get to chat with them a bit while they«work». If you go during the day it’s mellow. At night, you’re on your own. The sound system kicks ass and the selection is usually pretty rockin in a Guns n Roses/Motley/Buck Cherry kinda way. If you close your eyes, it almost feels like you’re on an episode, a very cool episode, of Sons of Anarchy. Like I said, once in a blue moon…

Where do I start. This place sucks. I prefer a different type of women then this bar offers but I was fine with it. I was completely ignored most of the time. Wasn’t treated like the rest of the people there. But once they seen I had money it was different but I shouldn’t have to let it be known that I’m a big spender. Their lose not mine money ain’t a thing to me. The manager chuck is a punk too begging to be my friend? Wtf I came to see the ladies not u. And the female boxing was fixed and terrible.

I was here around 1PM on a friday and they had several dancers working already but I was ignored while sitting at the bar. The dancers did not put much effort into their stage dancing but it was still early in the day. They have $ 4 valet parking mandatory but there is side street parking available. The cover is free before 7pm. Non-alcohol drink prices were kind of expensive of $ 7 – 8. They have $ 20 lap dances in booths and $ 25 lap dances in a small curtain room(VIP). Both are done on chairs, no couches here like at Hustler or Penthouse. Also no tables in the VIP to put your drinks and stuff on. The dancers are hit or miss but there are some really hot dancers at Subi’s.

A friend took me here for my birthday. It’s not obvious by the Unilocal tag of ‘nightlife’, but Subi’s is a strip club. We went on a Wednesday afternoon in mid-January. It was a little surprising when they told us we couldn’t park in the less than half-full lot without them valet-ing the car. The car was parked, my friend wasn’t giving them the keys, so they agreed to just let us pay to park in the spot. Valet at what turned out to be a mostly empty strip club at three in the afternoon on a Wednesday? Really? I’m assuming the attendant just wanted the tip and that’s why he insisted. Whatever. Anyway, the drink prices weren’t as ridiculous as I’ve experienced at other clubs of this sort. But still a little overboard. A very bored dancer sat with us most of the time that we were there, trying to coax one of us into getting a private dance and/or buying her drinks. She was attractive, but extremely annoying and not all that intelligent. By no means is this an indictment of strippers everywhere. There are some very intelligent women out there who smell like brass polish. This was not one of those women. My friend eventually told her it was my birthday. Thank god this isn’t the kind of strip club that does something crazy-annoying for a guy on his birthday. Instead, I got a free drink. Apparently, the birthday drink could not be a shot on the rocks. I’m assuming this is because a shot on the rocks is supposed to be equal to roughly 1.5 shots of liquor. So I had to order the Jameson’s as a shot and then ask for a glass of ice. This went back and forth between the dancer, the bartender, and myself for ten minutes. Ridiculous. I’ll admit my experience at Subi’s was at an unusual time, but if they can’t ‘bring it’ on a Wednesday afternoon, they probably have nothin’ to bring anyway.
