My son is 10 and a beginner on drums. We tried a few schools locally before settling on this one. The approach was more fluid and contemporary… generally easier for my son to immerse himself in. He has attention issues and the more formal programs at other schools just didn’t grab him.
His lessons with Paul are the highlight of his week. He always leaves there excited with something new to show me at home. Paul takes the time to figure out what he needs and how best to engage him. At this age, its easy to become discouraged learning something new, but Paul has his tricks and a great sense of humor, all of which keep my son’s confidence high enough to keep trying. Great teacher, flexible school, friendly people… highly recommend.

Great place for learning and loving music. No cookie cutter artist here. Each kid discovers their own path. DC has helped my daughter discover her voice and very own unique style. Highly recommend for the learning and loving of music.

I have been playing guitar for a year and wanted to put what i have learned into practice so I joined the adult rock band in Dec 2013. We played on stage a month later. A first for me and so awesome. I look forward to more in 2014. Drew is totally an awesome teacher. Nice, patient and not an arrogant musician that makes you feel like you suck.
