I finally found the best nail technician in Southlake. It’s Tiffany Tran at Old World Salon. In addition to her prefect touch pedi/mani’s she is a great conversationalist and has competitive pricing. Really, she is quite a gem, fun to talk to and get to know. Also, very trendy and picks out popular but not outrageous colors for this conservative girl.

Full highlight, lowlight, and cut by Bombshells by Candace. Excellent! Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

If you need an excellent massage just make an appointment with Rachel! Also, I go to her for ear candling! She is the only person in the area that I could find that is trained in ear candling!

I just switched stylist today! I came to Unilocal looking for someone new to cut and color my hair and after reading a few reviews decided to give Julie a try. I was looking for a fresh new style but nervous about using someone new. Julie did an awesome job of calming my nerves by being confident about what she does and listening to what I wanted. Such an awesome experience. Julie and her suite mate made me feel like family. I feel beautiful after getting my new do. I just love it! I would highly recommend Julie!

I was in town for just a week (home for Thanksgiving) and came to Old Worlds as a walk-​in. The décor is kitschy, it looks like a tiny town with each suite as its own building, but it was sweet all the same. Cindy did my hair, starting with a wonderful scalp massage and ending with a razor cut, taking the weight out of my bulky hair and giving me long layers. She was so kind and did a wonderful job. Her english may not seem the best, but don’t let the thick accent deter you. She is chatty and attentive, and gave me exactly the haircut I asked for.

Moved to Keller and saw on Unilocal great reviews so I called Julie and she did a wonderful job!

The Stylists work individually at this location — they each have their own «studio», there are all types of stylists some do waxing only some make up etc most hair.
Candace Hancock is my stylist and has been here about 5 months! I have known her for 5 years and she has been doing my hair for ²⁄₃ of that time. If you are looking to get your hair colored any color and especially blonde — this is your go-​to gal! :) She always gets the color right.
She has all different choices but pretty standard Full highlight, half highlight, hair cut, mens cut, ombré/​sombre, waxing and make up.

The Mane Rage has two talented stylists that always make my day!
I drive a long distance because Julie has a way of knowing how I want my hair even when I don’t. My hair was very frizzy and damaged, but not anymore! The products Julie recommends have brought life back to my hair.
I always leave feeling younger somehow and it’s not just the fact the gray hair is gone or the cut is awesome — it’s because Julie’s talented and enjoys her career. She also finds ways to give back to dog-​rescue groups and the animals at Denton municipal shelter.

Got my hair done today by Ashley Neff. What a wonderful job and very nice and fun. Knew exactly what to do and how to cut it. Would def come back.

The stylists work individually here, and my family and I (husband and two daughters) see Julie Banks and Ashley Neff on a regular basis for all of our hair needs. These girls have great personalities, and know their stuff. My husband is in the army and needs a regular clean up, my hair always feels and looks so much better after a trim, and my 3 year old daughter loves going to see Ms. Julie! My old stylist had cut my layers too short and pregnancy had broken off alot of my hair, so gradually my hair is getting back to normal with Julie and Ashley’s help. They have an awesome Keratin hair smoothing treatment which adds shine, reduces frizz, and dramatically reduces styling time. We highly recommend Julie Banks and Ashley Neff at Old World Salons in Southlake. They are in the first suite (with windows) and take walk-​ins as well! (located at convenient shopping center at 1709/​Davis, next to Walmart and Hobby Lobby)

As a grown woman, I rarely cry over bad haircuts.
A couple of months ago, I went to a high-​priced salon and had my hair absolutely butchered. I admit that I shed a tear of frustration or two because I had just spent months growing it out and within the space of 30 minutes, it was… just…gone…
I was desperate enough to ask a woman I met at a concert if she could recommend her stylist because she had the style that I had originally been trying for…
She sent me to Glenda, who has just been a miracle-​worker…

Seriously, I have baby-​fine hair and, to make matters worse, I work in the radio industry, which means I wear head phones for about 5 hours every day.
She cut my hair in such a way that not only does it look great everyday, it looks great after the headphone test… She is also very fairly priced which is a great bonus!
I absolutely love her and will follow her to salons at the ends of the earth… no, really… :)
