i have been going to Salon 1709 for 7 years. It is always a pleasant atmosphere. The nail tech, Tiffany is wonderful. I feel like she is part of my family after so many years of utilizing her talents on my hands and feet. The owner of the salon, Ahn, is always kind and thoughtful. She is very willing to work me in for a trim when I need it. This is the most accommodating hair and nail salon I have ever used, and I have been to many over the years. I have recommended this salon to many of my friends.

I recently went in to get my hair highlighted and cut and was very dissapointed. My stylist was very difficult to understand and she didnt listen to anything i said. I asked for blonde highlights and a swing bob haircut and she gave me brown highlights and a haircut that had no shape and she kept trying to sell me some weird asian vitamins. I recommend staying far way!

I liked my stylist here but she moved to Sola Salons. Salon 1709 has lots of stylists and is always busy. Can be noisy at times.

My Sister’s Bridal party had their up-does done here this past Saturday and everyone’s hair looked fabulous! My Sister’s evite said that the up-does start at 50.00 and go up. But, since I was styling my own hair and watching the kidos in the party while their Mom’s hair got done I am unsure of the actual prices. What I am sure of is the artistic talents of the ladies here. I personally thought my 8 year old niece’s up-do was the most beautiful of all; unfortunately by 11PM she was crying that her head hurt — I took down her do and counted 56 bobby pins — poor girl:(But it sure did look pretty!
I would definitely recommend them for up-does in the area.
