do not use this gas station. carwash breaks side mirror and they refuse to fix or pay for damages. they need to be shutdown!

Nice clean convenience store and gas station.
I thought I was popping in to grab a donut, and while looking around was asked if I needed help. I mentioned my quest, and that I had not been in before, so I was looking around. I also mentioned I was considering grabbing something from the co-​located Bottlecap Alley Icehouse Grill. I was then given a 50% off coupon for any breakfast item. Sweet. I made immediate use of it and you can read my review here:
I’m glad I stopped in, and it’s definitely a nicely arranged store with all the essentials that you would expect at a gas station convenience store, though maybe the wine selection is a littler better than average… I did not scrutinize, but there seemed to be a larger than average selection.
Bottom line: I more or less promised next time I’m driving by I’ll actually buy something from Scooter’s.

Hopefully this review will help someone before they damage their car. I see that I am not the first to have this problem. (check google review) I am shocked to see that it’s gone on for not months, but years.
Washed my car today and as the track pulled my car into the wash it repeatedly make a loud screeching noise; not good. However, when the side brush swept by to clean the car the center beam the bristle pivot around came an inch away from my window and took off my side mirror.
I notified the gas station attendant and by their reaction, I could tell this was not their first report of damage. I asked to talk to the manager. She definitely was not in any rush to come talk to me, and first thing she said was didn’t you see the sign we’re not liable for any damage.
After an officer arrived to file a incident report, an attendant speaking to both the officer and I said they watch the video surveillance and it shows my break lights come on proving I stepped on my breaks and that is why my car was damaged.
It’s one thing to try and not claim the liability, but now they are lying to me and making up false stories about me causing the damage. This is not my first car wash. I know you put your car in neutral, take your hands off the wheel and foot off the break. YOUR CAR WASH IS BROKEN.
It’s apparent they had plenty of opportunities to rehearse their story.
They know their car wash is broken and they still let people use it!
