I first discovered Soft Surroundings through a mail order catalog. I didn’t even know they have stores. My first experience in-​store was in Kansas City, but since, I have also been to the Southlake, TX location. Great service. Fabulous clothes. Perfect fit for the «mature woman». I totally love Soft a Surroundings.

Gorgeous clothes! But, this place is located in Southlake Town Square, which makes parking a pain the butt if it’s a weekend. Go on weekday mornings for an easier time parking. The clothes here are just my style-​casual, stylish, comfortable, well-​made and they fit true to size. The ladies working here were really friendly but a little in your face. Asking if I need a dressing room every 3 minutes. Please leave me alone so I can shop! Not sure if that’s because they want to appear to be super friendly, or because it’s just habit to constantly nag customers. That point alone almost makes me not want to go back here, but I will because the clothes are just beautiful. So, four stars for nagging sales people and because the prices are high.

I do like Soft Surroundings, but this one feels tiny compared to another I’ve visited.
While the store name brings up images of bath robes, moo-​moos, pajamas, and tent-​like attire, the clothing is a mix of comfort and style. So yes, there are some non-​tailored items, but then there are beautiful outfits that I would wear to a nice dinner with the hubby.
There are also candles, lotions, and other items meant for a relaxing evening at home.
I can’t say I found what I was looking for here — well I found it, but realized I didn’t like it — but I’ve walked out of another Soft Surroundings after having parted with a nice chunk of change. I definitely wish I had one of these closer to home.

I recently discovered the product Wunderbrow and purchased it on line. I was hoping to find it in a store near my home.
I was pleasantly surprized to learn of the Soft Surroundings store in Southlake, Texas. I called ahead, made sure they had what I wanted and ran by on my way home from work.
It was a little out of my way, but I will definitely go back! I was met with a warm welcome, and made to feel as if I was the only person in the store! Apparently my twin shops there, because two of the ladies said you look so familiar.
What made my visit even better was the birthday surprize because my b/​day is in February!
Thank you Soft Surroundings for showing me that customer service isn’t dead and very much alive and well in your store in Southlake, Texas!
