Since they moved to a larger store, it seems as their already higher than normal prices went up even higher. Usually when I go in, the sales associate is on the phone, and never bothers to look up or acknowledge me, unless I make some noise. The last time I was in, I found a top I really liked, but there was no price on it. This was on Tuesday maybe, and so I gave both our local number and my cell number, asking to be called with a price. I called back the following day, as well as the next day, and the day after that inquiring as to a price. Apparently, the owner would not answer the entire week. I tried one last time that Saturday, only to be told the top had sold the day before, even though it was on hold with my name on it! Not sure what’s going on, but it’s the kind of madness I’ve learned to expect from the place. Also, if you do buy something, kinda ballpark what you’re getting. I bought a couple of Faded Glory(Wal Mart brand) shirts, with the tags still attached. After getting them home, I really looked at the Wal Mart tags, only to discover that they were $ 3 less at Wal Mart. Shame on me! But, after going to Wal Mart the next day, they were on the store’s clearance rack for half of what I paid at KK. It was my mistake for the impulse buy, but, you have to be careful, is all I’m saying. Yes, they have some nice stuff from places like Talbot’s, Kohl’s, Coldwater Creek, etc, but then you see Wal Mart, Kmart, and Family Dollar brands mixed in. There’s a wide selection of things from pajamas, shoes, jewelry, handbags, clothing, and home décor items, for one stop shopping. It’s a great little place if you can overlook the arrogance and crazy management/staff. I really wanted to rate KK as a 2.5, but, Unilocal doesn’t allow that. Based upon my past experiences(I go in maybe 15 – 20 times a year), I rounded down.

I always, are a point to see what they have at Klassy Consignment when I’m in town. They just re-located to a bigger store on Oak Island and it’s still packed with goodies. Definitely worth a visit.
