Montgomery County Shooting Complex

We have been to this range a couple of times now. My wife and I are new to shooting. This place is very nice and clean. They have very good safety policies and watch the safety of their patrons very well. I strongly recommend this range.

Wow, the Montgomery County Shooting Complex is like a country club… for guns!
I was looking for a good outdoor range to sight in a few rifles. I also wanted to cycle a few rounds (or maybe a few hundred) through my pistols for fun. Most of what I’ve seen around Nashville are either indoor pistol ranges or they’re geared more toward shotgun skeet shooting. There was one range near my house at Percy Priest, but it looked pretty awful. When I checked out this place online, I knew it would be worth the drive to Clarksville, and I was right. Early Friday morning is the best time to go if you can swing it, since the crowd is minimal.
There are so many different shooting options here, it’s almost unbelievable. For pistol, they have the standard 5÷15÷25 yard range, plus a tactical-​style reactive pistol range ($ 10 extra charge). For rifle, they have a 25÷50÷75÷100 yard range and a long-​range 200÷300÷400 yard range. They also have multiple shotgun ranges for clay shooting, as well as an archery range and walk-​through wooded archery course. I only had pistols and rifles with me today, but I will definitely be bringing my crossbow and shotguns next time.
The covered rifle range is great. The rangemaster made sure everyone was shooting safely, but he wasn’t a jerk about it like you find at some places. I also had a blast at the tactical reactive pistol range. We were out on the tactical range by ourselves, so I could really get into it without fear of embarrassment.
Montgomery County is easily the best outdoor range I’ve ever been to, and I will be back as often as I can.

This is the best range around Nashville, in my opinion. It’s a bit of a drive from the city, but it’s worth it to spend a day shooting at the various ranges that are available. The facility here is very nice and well maintained. The trap/​skeet ranges are particularly nice. The employees and range officers are friendly and helpful. For the price, you can’t beat it.

If you are looking for gun range to bring your family and friends around fort campbell, this is the place to be. The staff are friendly and pleasant to meet. They have a variety of ranges and a good gun rentals from pistol to rifles. They also offer gun safety class. I recommend this place and will not be disappointment.

Great setup for a variety of ranges at a cheap price compared to the ones in California. My husband especially loves the flat land with perfectly structured hills for each range. He was disappointed that the 400 m range is closed for the day after the Guy at the office said we were good for that. I was hoping to shoot some clay pigeons which the didn’t sell any but we can bring our own for next time
