Went looking for this place on my first trip to Southwest Harbor. You will have to look elsewhere for wine and tapas – it appears to be closed for good.

Myself and my Fiancée were visiting from out of state for a friend’s wedding. The owner was incredibly rude. Perhaps the worst customer service I’ve received in my life. She made the entire experience unpleasant and sour. The food was subpar and the drinks were overpriced. When we returned an item, she went as far as to curse at me. We will not be going back, neither will the other 20 members of the party. If you travel near this part of Maine, avoid the second wind like the plague! So many other establishments down Maine street that have north eastern values and know how to treat customers with respect and courtesy.

Will return for a drink, but not for dinner. The staff and owner are unbelievably friendly, however the food leaves much to be desired. We have eaten there three times since they opened in the Fall of 2013 and been disappointed every time.

The food here was amazing! I had the lasagna and shepherds pie while others had the chicken stew and pot roast. Everything was so tasty and the portions were more than expected. We had a gracious host and were surprised by the open mic night which was wonderful. Even my two year old son enjoyed himself! We’ll definitely be going back!

We were on vacation in Southwest Harbor, saw the new listing on Unilocal and thought we would give it a try. I think they’ve only been open a few weeks. There is a lot of potential here. The inside is cozy, with dim lighting, high top tables, couches and love seats. They have a nice draft selection and not a bad wine list. I really enjoyed the Toscano I had. This is a really cozy spot to have a few drinks. The food though needs a little work. It’s a tapas menu and we tried a few different things. We had the gingered meatballs, which weren’t bad, but needed just a little more flavor. The pork tacos were a good size, loaded with lots of really lean pork, but the pork also needed a little more flavor. The item that I was most disappointed in was the cheese plate. I love cheese. I’ve had cheese plates all over. I’m not sure what kind of cheese we had because it was described on the menu as an «eclectic» mix and the waitress didn’t tell us what was on the plate as they normally do when you order one. It seemed like pieces of a store bought walnut covered orange cheese ball, some Boursin, a dill cheese and some type of mild smoked cheese, served with Pepperidge Farm crackers. For $ 13 I was expecting better. Perhaps they could make it a «Maine cheese plate» and use some Seal Cove goat cheese and a few other local cheeses? As I said, there is a lot of potential and this could be a great little spot. They’ve really just opened. I’d stop by again if I were in the area and give it another try.
