This is a Truck stop and biker hangout. The bar tenders will pay more attention to the males then female customer, not a big fan of that since I’m there to drink/eat as well. It normal takes my man to place the orders for us. Decent food, decent drinks. It more of a spot to gather friends and hang for 30 mins then off to where we want to be.

I’m a biker and new to town so I stopped in today to check it out. I was about half way through my chicken sandwich when I noticed the entire center of the meat was pink(undercooked). Im crazy about undercooked food. I showed the bartender and she apologized and offered a new one. I asked her to ask the chef if he had used a thermometer to check temp and she said she would. Another server brought the second one for me and I never saw the original server again. I was so horrified that I just paid the bill and left. Not impressed.

Looking for a great spot to eat, this is it !!! Wings were awesome and the tostones with the chimichurri sauce were great. The biker burger with the Jack Daniels sauce was tasty and perfect. A great spot for all bikers and non bikers. The waitress was very attentive.

Be sure to come out on a Sunday afternoon and grab a few buckets of brew and chill out to the southern rock stylings of the Southern Rock Society. Great music, cold beer and a great crowd.

Beware! My corporate credit card was compromised here during lunch. All the bad stuff you hear about it is true… dirty, no parking, poor food quality, 20% precalculated gratuity, skanky restrooms, warm beer. The live stages or hopes that you’ll get to see one rival slack jaw biker take another one out of the gene pool while you wait for your crap food can’t make up for that. Support Twin Peaks in Waco if you’re hoping for a 1%-er biker shootout; at least there’s plenty of parking.

If you’re wondering why I was way out here, I was here to hear/see #FishingWithFredo. This business has an awesome stage for live entertainment. Yet another place they were playing at that is great. I will be coming here again. This is one of those rare cases where the Hispanic Food outside of Miami-Dade is actually better than the American Food. Well, now that I think about it, «better» isn’t exactly the right reference. I sampled several things off the menu last night, but, we’ll get to that part in a minute. From my area in West Hialeah, not using I-75, it took me about 25 minutes to get here. I was at someone’s home where the more logical route was to take West 68th Street aka NW122nd Street aka Gratigny Parkway through Hialeah Gardens to connect with Okeechobee Road aka US27. We then headed north and, about 25 minutes later, there this was on the right. It is freaking beautiful. There is nothing around here but the Seminole Gas Station adjacent to it. Which, there is no AC here. In the middle of July in South Florida and, it wasn’t «that hot.» The empty portion of the Everglades across the highway feeds a nice cool breeze here at night. Yes, it’s hot but, not that bad considering. On the way home, I took US27 all the way down to Hialeah. There was no traffic and I wasn’t speeding; that took me 15 minutes right after midnight, give or take a few seconds. Why am I spending so much time saying the distance? Because this restaurant/bar is «people who love riding motorcycles» friendly. You don’t even need to get on the highway to make it here. Many routes will get you here that connect with US27. Foods I tried while here: * Alligator Bites — This was surprisingly very good. It was my first time having this. It didn’t taste like a wallet or a pair of shoes at all. * Tostones — Very good. These didn’t appear or taste like the frozen kind that most places serve these days. Could be but, I have no clue. I’m not a Chef. Nice dipping sauce served with these. * Chicken Wings — Extremely good. I had the BBQ and one of the Oriental Ones. Not sure which one. What you will notice with these here is how easily the meat comes off the bone and how much meat is in each. These went very well with the Yuengling I was drinking. * Some kind of wrap served with Onion Rings — I tried this but I didn’t order it so I have no idea what the name is. Anyway, the wrap was extremely good. The Onion Rings were just ok to me. My friends, however, said these were the best Onion Rings they’ve ever had. * An Hispanic Sandwich — The young lady across from me ordered this. The aroma coming from this sandwich was sublime. Sorry, I have no clue what it was. It was obviously Hispanic, though. * Order of French Fries — Good but don’t let them sit there long. They will get hard as a rock quickly. * Nachos — You know how when you order Nachos out there the cheese turns into an awful hard plastic-like mess? Not here. That cheese remained fluid throughout and, we didn’t eat it right away. We all concurred, these were the best Nachos we’ve ever had. Also went very well with the Yuengling. Things to note and blah, blah, blahs: * On Unilocal this restaurant is listed as a BBQ place. It is one but, it isn’t. As far as I could see, the food is coming out of a kitchen. * This place is pretty huge. * Parking — «Shouldn’t» be a problem here. Although, the later it got the fewer spaces that were available. Cars kept stopping by throughout the night. * Kitchen has a last call. On a Saturday night while I was here it was called shortly after 11:00 p.m. * I was going to deduct one star because unless you’ve been here before, you wouldn’t know this business has a full bar, or, if you sit there. Their menu only states the beer specials and their Bloody Mary special. Which, reminds me, that wasn’t «the best» Bloody Mary I’ve had EVER. Buy one get one free and spicy with lots of Vodka, though. Just not«the best.» * Breakfast is served here. Definitely coming back for that. * Prices here are beyond reasonable. * Limitado pero aquí se entiende un poco de español.

Great place to be on Sundays and Thursday nights if you are into the biker scene. I wish they would add Saturdays to bike night list. Food is okay. Live bands are great. Fun atmosphere, and the staff works hard.

So I come here when I can. Love this place. Had Courtney and Janell(sorry if I spelled it wrong) serving tonight. Two of the friendliest young ladies I have ever encountered in South Florida. If you are not sure about what to eat or drink, just ask Janell. Almost all of my choices were based on her recommendation and not sorry for it. So it’s an outdoor tiki hut style dining and drinking establishment. Big with Bikers and Truckers alike but unless you look across the lot, you can’t tell. Great music and entertainment on certain nights. The food is always good, I have never complained. I see many mad reviews on here, but I do not get it. I have seen none of this stuff people are complaining about. I would recommend this place for everyone. Parents with kids be aware it is a bar style business so you judge with that in mind.

This is a great place for the biker community. There’s no place for family oriented people or children. Is also good place to get into a fight with devoted alcoholics. Not coming back and I can’t believe I sat here for 30 minutes waiting for a glass of wine.

So I’m giving this a 3 star rating not because I did not like it here but because I did a drive by peek in, one drink stop. My friend and I have been curious about this place so we decided to check it out. We loved the ambience with the tiki bar. At the time a band was setting up but we did not stay to hear them as we had other plans. The bartender went above and beyond to make us the drinks we wanted. I chose a bloody mary and it was made just like I like it. I can’t tell you what my friend ordered just that the bartender made her a custom drink she downed with pleasure. The bartender rocked by the way. That being said I look forward to coming back to enjoy some music, perhaps some food and of coarse some cold drinks. Biker night on Thursdays sounds appealing. Until then my stars remain in all fairness to a full experience rather then a drive by.

This place is way cool! When my friend suggested we go out to a truck stop to check out a band I frowned. Really? A truck stop? Boy was I surprised. The place has the largest tiki hut I have ever seen. The staff busts their butts to make sure you are served promptly and are always friendly and entertaining. They have a great menu, lots to choose from and everything I have had was good. They even serve breakfast on Sunday mornings! This is a great hangout if you ride a bike, motorized of course. The crowd that is drawn to this place is very friendly and are regulars. Everyone seems to know each other and make the atmosphere friendly and enjoyable. Lots of interesting characters to people watch! They always have different bands and I haven’t heard a bad one yet. I totally recommend this hang out! Have fun! You can check it out here:

This is defiantly a dive stop and while I love dive bars and restaurants I was not a fan of Café 27. With outdoor seating only, you have to expect heat and bugs. I ordered a Philly cheese steak and was far from satisfied. The meat was tuff and fries tasted like they sat in a fryer for half the day. The sandwich itself was very greasy. I saw several other people eating burgers, they looked pretty appetizing. I am defiantly going to go back for a second visit and give the burger a try. I have driven by this location many times; most of the time the place is packed. This is a hot spot for motorcyclists. The bar looks like a blast. I have seen so many people here at times that both bars are full. Keep in mind that this place is basically in the parking lot of a truck stop; do get your expectations to high! That being said it is a defiantly a must stop if you are in the area.

Went on a Thursday night(bike night) had a good time. People were friendly no problems decent prices on drinks. I didn’t have any food but it looked good as they walked by with it. Get there during day light hours or make sure your bike has a windshield bugs are out.

I had a great time, staff was very friendly & helpful finding me something to drink. Not much of a drinker. The food was good and loved the live entertainment, blues/rock n roll, right up my alley. Met some new friends there, laughed till my face hurt. There were bikes there & family’s w/kids. I love a low key place that meets all my needs. I’ll go back… Oklahoma single chick felt welcomed

My friend and I just finished an air boat tour and wanted to eat gator meat, so we Unilocaled our way to this restaurant. When we first came, we realized the restaurant is all outdoor and there’s no outside seating. It’s right on US27 and a lot of truckers come to this rest stop. It was very hot that day too. We sat by the tiki bar and looked at the menu and asked for their gator bites. Guess what they told us? That DON’T have any GATORBITES!!! We were extremely disappointed that they did not have their specialty. I decided to go with their mahi mahi sandwich and my friend got the churrasco steak. The mahi mahi sandwich was pretty good, but I really like was their sweet potato fries. Please be aware that there are A LOTOFFLIES flying around your food once you get them. Even though there are a lot of fans running around you, they are still crowding around your food. I burnt a lot of calories swatting flies! Maybe I will go when the weather is less hot.

Okay, Where do I start. A truck stop with a tiki bar. I just had to check it out. What a pleasant surprise. It was Thursday night which just happens to be bike night. Great live music, interesting crowd, really good food, all packed into a tiki bar on the edge of the everglades. Had a great time this evening. Was told that Wed. thru Sun. there is different themes, from Jamaican to Spanish and bikini nights. It made a good impression on me this first time here. I will definitely be back. Try it for something different.
