High Q Seeds

Flavor tripping was a trip for sure! I can’t say I wasn’t a bit skeptical at first about this «miracle fruit» that magically makes things taste different.
A fruit that alters your palate causing acidic foods to taste outstandingly sweet? Is this legal? And will I break out in a rash or experience flashbacks?
The only flashbacks after flavor tripping that I’ve experienced is the feeling in my stomach after taking a shot of vinegar because it tasted so sweet! Unfortunately, about 15 mins later I realized that although the fruit may have tricked my taste buds, my stomach was not going to be taken for a fool. Thank God for Tums!
Anyway, the effects were not as strong on me as they were for others. I guess I’m just that hardcore. LOL jk
The foods where I experienced the most dramatic changes in taste were:
Guinness — No bitter finish — tasted much more dessert-​ish
Grapefruit — My goodness! This was the most joyous experience for me. It tasted like a grapefruit caked in sugar. Either it really worked, or that was just some unearthly good grapefruit!
Wasabi peas — Most of the kick was eliminated
Sour pickles — Tasted pretty sweet — not sour at all.
Kimchi — Knocked the kick right out of it.
The two foods where I experienced little if any change at all:
Salt and Vinegar Chips — No difference. Someone else at the party told me it tasted like chips with sugar!
Bitter chocolate — No difference.
Sour Patch Kids — No difference.
Goat cheese — Very little difference.
Everyone has a different experience, so I highly recommend taking the «trip» … it is definitely a pretty cool adventure!

High Q Seeds is apparently the proper business name for Curtis Mozie’s (the «Miracle Fruit Man») wildly popular — and surely lucrative — oligopoly on miracle fruit, a novel product that contains a chemical that bonds to the taste buds with the overall effect of making sour and bitter items taste sweet.
I have already used High Q Seeds to introduce a number of individuals, including myself, to the odd effects of miracle fruit. As of this writing, the most profound effect for me was to ingest extraordinary quantities of pleasantly sweet lemon juice while eating whole chunks of lime without immediate repercussions.
The first large shipment of miracle fruit I ordered arrived in a reasonable time. The fruit had the desired effect, and it has kept as long as High Q Seeds represented it would last. While the fruit is not exactly tasty (think a less sweet cranberry), neither was it repugnant. Indeed, if my second order arrives in a reasonable time period, I will likely up this review to five full stars.
As a final note, if anyone who reads this review decides to try Miracle Fruit on their own, I strongly suggest using caution when ingesting highly acidic material. While I may have initially enjoyed my first flavor tripping experience, I was in extreme pain hours later from my body’s visceral reaction to the enormous amount of acid in my stomach. So I would suggest using some level of practical sense when enjoying this interesting oddity that has captured the minds and hearts of food enthusiasts and party planners across the nation.
