We paid almost 19 dollars for an order… The receipt clearly says: Add Bacon 1.49… We were told at the window we were getting white sauce… No Bacon on burger. No white sauce in bag… DID I MENTION The Wet Soggy Fries!?! This place used to be one of my childhood staples, because of the delicious food they used to serve… Those are memories only these days… no one on staff at Barry’s Park View seems to care about food temp. Nor do they care about Food quality… they have messed up my order for the last time, because, I will never eat there again. One block away is GLADE’S, and Glade’s has never served me soggy fries, nor messed up my order. Avoid Barry’s Park View Drive In. Over Priced. Lackluster Menu. Crappy Food. Go to Glade’s instead, if you want a «mom & pop burger shop» burger. cos, Barry’s doesn’t care about you and your family. If you’re dishing out over 20 dollars for a dish to eat, it should taste good…(Or At Least BEHOT… warm would be an improvement at Barry’s) There has been over 9 other fast food places built in Spanish Fork in the last couple of years, any one of them, is a better choice… Shame on You, Barry’s Park View, your drive thru, and all that you do

It’s good food, not great but good. The place is old, and the menu is a maze, but if you look past the rough appearance, you’ll find a local favorite that has unique food. They are truly a jack of all trades when it comes to food. I highly recommend the steak sandwich. It was the suggestion given to me for my first meal there, and I’ll pass on that suggestion to all you Unilocalers on here.

I rarely give anything more than for stars, but this one gets it. I should preface this with the fact that I have worked in Spanish Fork for 15 years, and this is on the regular rotation of places to go. Unless you hit right after the high school swarm has decended and desroyed the place in a feeding frenzy of french fries and ranch dressing, the place will be clean and inviting. The hundred kids that arrive to shove stuff into their mouths and get back to the high school can really ruin a lunch here, but the staff does a great job of getting them out. They have the best burgers in town. I sometimes think that Culver’s may have passed them, but these guys still have the crown. Chicken sandwiches are also very good. They even have some odd things(for a burger place) gyros, tacos, french dip, patty melts. All are top notch. I never go through the drive in so I have never been charged for the sauces. White, fry sauce, and catsup. They have been slowly fixing up the place over the years so I am happy to see that they are not just driving it into the ground. Some places really let things go. Pros: good food, fast, fries, clean. Cons: close to the high school so avoid their lunch break.

I should have known when I saw the«Inn» of drive-in with double«n“s, but as noted elsewhere repeatedly here, I am an idiot and so went anyway. I pull up into this funky little parking lot, which is a sure cause of a lot of dented fenders anywhere but a small town like this and check out the wrecked building. Now, this could go one of two ways. We could be seeing a funky little place slinging great food, the quintessential«hole in the wall» or we could be seeing a funky little place serving up craptastic junk. Sadly, it was the latter. Inside was not much better than the outside, filthy gritty little place with little maneuvering room. Nearly everything, consuming items-wise, was off here, from the mix in the soda fountain, to the burgers, to the menu, which sprawled all over the place, to the attitude of the staff, who could clearly not possibly give a shit any less. The sandwich assembly line had them moving as fast as they could, with not even the remotest whiff of care about the sandwiches itself, which definitely came through loud and clear in the taste. This was probably the worst burger I’ve had all year. Fries, however, were pretty okay-ish, which would be nice if I ever started caring about fries. Scones were pretty silly. Softy, pillowy containers of air, coated in powdered sugar with this watery dreckish kinda-sorta honey butter sauce… no thanks. Pass on that and definitely pass on ever gracing this place with my presence again. You’d be better off at a gas station.

The food is good and there is lots of it. I just find that the restaurant itself is often not very clean and they are a little stingy with their sauces. I’ll go ask for some BBQ sauce and I only got one when there were two chicken strip meals on my order. I sometimes feel a glare when I ask but don’t get me wrong the staff is nice just a little stingy. The shakes are really good they’re one of my favorite things to go get after a long day.

The 4 stars are for the scones because I’m a sucker for deep-fried dough. They give you an order of 4, accompanied by a remarkably runny honey butter that is somehow perfect for dipping. They’re amazing and I dare you to not eat all 4 before you open your bag of actual food. As far as the rest of the food goes, it’s pretty standard. I’ve had the cheeseburger and the sea burger and both were fine, though the one with meat was considerably better than the one with fish. Which is primarily related to my feelings on beef vs. fish and not anything inherent about the way it was cooked. Overall, it’s a solid choice, but I really only go there versus anywhere else because of the scones.

Their food was usually good… but the last few times I have gone their burger tastes like it’s been sitting on the griddle too long and the consistency of beef jerky. Their French fries which are usually great especially since they use season salt have been soggy messes each and every time. I just don’t dig soggy fries but my husband doesn’t mind them a little mushy but I can’t get past it. They used to almost always be crispy and now they are not. I hope the next time my husband talks me into going they blow me out of the water but I have a hard time thinking that will happen

Barry’s has the best bacon cheeseburger and fries in the area. Great shakes, too!

With all the high reviews I had to stop here, but it was just ok. Nothing to write home about. How is a cheeseburger $ 1.69 but a BLT is $ 4.99? It just doesn’t make sense. The fries were crispy which was good and the chocolate banana milkshake was also tasty and the cheeseburger was good for the price. The service was less than desirable. Being from out of state, I have never heard of white sauce so when I asked what it was and the response was, «it’s over there» with the point of a finger, I was a little turned off. The place was grimy inside, but I guess to be expected for a drive in that’s been around for so long.

This place has the best onion rings, fries, and bacon cheeseburgers! Well priced for food, the ice cream is a little overpriced, but all in all, a great burger place, and happy to be purchasing locally.

This place offers a lot on the menu. I never get disappointed with what I order. Everything on the menu is delicious. The white sauce is the bomb! It may not look like much on the outside but it’s very clean for a busy fast food joint. The owners are very friendly and customer oriented. There is hardly any wait time before you get your food. All and all this place is worth going to again and again.

We use this place as a bribe to get our kids to behave in the summer. The shakes and fry sauces are probably my favorite things at Barrys. Of the hamburger joints in Spanish Fork, I’d probably say this is my favorite one. Always busy. BTW, if you want to get a lot of fries, order the large to go — they load you up! Definitely recommend this place.

Average burger joint. Not as good as the pre-franchise JCW’s but on par with the the new version. The drive through lane isn’t laid out very well, but be patient with the other drivers and you’ll get good grease quickly enough. The tots are dusted with chili powder and are surprisingly tasty.

This place has the BEST burgers and fries. Shakes are also top notch. They get super busy, line is usually out to the road but it is well worth the wait. I always get the Western Bacon Cheeseburger combo and my favorite shake is Oreo and Cookie Dough. Side note, the fountain drinks are really watery.

Barry’s is a great hamburger stand! The building was originally an Arctic Circle build in the late 1970s and then in the 1980s was purchased by a former restaurant manager by the name of Barry who established it as a great option in Spanish Fork. Barry sold the restaurant in the 1990s and the current owners have maintained the same great food and service. Barry’s has good burgers and sandwiches great shakes and fries and is consistent with their old fashioned taste. We like to stop by Barry’s whenever we are in Utah.

Classic place for the locals. Around noon the drive thru line is almost to the road. Best known for AMAZING fries. Burgers and chicken sandwhices are also delicious. Shakes are pretty creamy and delicious as well. If you want a classic burger joint with old fashioned feel this is a great place to go. If you are heading through Utah County stop by this gem, you won’t regret it. :)

For a non-chain, fast food restaurant in the city, this is one of the best. I like the Halibut Fish Dinner, which is a bit pricey, but is really good. They charge for extra sauces for drive through orders, so expect to pay a bit extra if you want more white sauces. My only complaint is that it feels a tad unclean inside, even though they always have someone on cleaning duty. I guess this is a small point for a drive inn. Still, great fast food!

It’s a great old fashioned Drive Inn atmosphere. They have all the good old options a Drive Inn has. It’s always busy with the drive through packed. Their shakes are great too.
