I usually don’t give negative reviews unless the public really needs to be aware of a service, product, or company that is misrepresented. To start, my order of 15 that I had printed at Think Ink was late. I asked TONY when to expect it. He said Tuesday. I called Tuesday and nope, not ready. Reasoning was about the mid-tones being hard to print. He didn’t call to let me know it wouldn’t be ready or anything. So I ask when it will be ready… again. Today at end of business(5pm). He said he’d call at 4pm to let me know. He didn’t call. I had to drive to Sparks just find out about the order. Still not ready… again. He tells me to come back the next day. I do. The shirts are«ready». No they are not… again. They had no brand name or logo on the back. Then Tony tries to give me a deal where he he won’t charge me for the back being printed which is normally 4 per piece @ an order of 15, but I was told he would do this already the first time before the order was late and they forgot the patch. Back then he said it was going to be $ 3 for front and back. So how is that a deal now? As I go to the back to check the proof for the locker patch logo, the have it ready to print as «Askings Would». No. The brand name is As Kings Would. It was stated in person, written by myself and Tony, and in the corresponding email. If you can’t remember your customer or the company, then shame on you. I’m big on the customer. That’s why I wanted the local shop, and not someone online. The people, product, process. That’s why I needed a local shop. Finally it’s ready. I get the shirts and the women’s small is printed with the same size image as a men’s large. Looks silly when you see such a small image on a large shirt. I told him in the email and in person about the image sizing and the way I wanted it be large and take up the shirt. He told me after the order was printed that there is a fee to change the size. I didn’t mind the fee bc the product would’ve been perfect and I could sell it. Now I lost money with those. Also I wanted the ink white on some shirts. I’m not sure why they printed a base coat, and then added black, when I clearly stated white ink. So it should have only been white dots like the black dots. I’ll attach images as well. The black in the wings of the white isn’t black at all. Monarch butterflies are know for the black white contrast. Notice how the black is on a teal background with no white base coat. The grey shirt should have been the same. All of the art we use is done by hand. One of a kind. I emailed Tony to pick up my art three days ago. Not sure why he has not retuned my email, especially since he prefers email. Me too. That way everything is accounted for. And if you go through Think Ink, you should use the same caution. I’m glad I only printed 15 to start. If anyone reading this knows of a quality printing company please let me know. Spend more coin and get it done the correct way.
