Ace Hardware

They probably do have what you’re looking for, but good luck finding it. This store is very poorly organized, the set up is just funky.

I hate going in Ace it’s always been a convenient location and easier to get in and out because it’s like a ghost town don’t know how they compete, don’t go in there looking for help, you’ll have to compete with high school kids there for lunch? Wander up and down the aisles looking for someone anyone to help you… then you walk to the front and ask and the cashier tells you to ring a bell… then sarcastically says your welcome for getting you help. done business elsewhere thanks for nothing

They are always very nice and helpful!!! The prices are fairly good. I also love the snack bar they have if nothing else you should go there just to try it. i would recommend ace hardware on baring to everyone

I love going to this Ace Hardware. The staff is very knowledgable and really understand the DIY mentality.
They have great return policies and will work with you if there are manufacturer stipulations on returns. I bought a garden weasel that said lifetime warranty and they worked with me to figure out how to exchange it after it broke.
They also have a great return policy on garden plants. If you plant them and they die, they will exchange them. Every time I go to Ace I feel like Norm from the TV show «Cheers». They know my name. They know my kids’ names. This is a real home town feeling store. I highly recommend it.

The customer service here is top notch! I had been looking for a specific lock all over town and could not find it anywhere. When I called Ace Hardware, they were very helpful to me double checking their stock to save me a trip in case they didn’t have it. When we arrived, the parking lot was pretty open and the store was very clean. They have all kinds of home goods too so it was more than just a bunch of tools and nails everywhere. The assistant on the floor walked me right over to the lock aisle, and picked out the exact one I was looking for. Very kind people and friendly as well. I will definitely know where to go when I am in need of well… You know… Hardware stuff!

Let me paint you a picture – this is a store that sells replacement webbing for lawn chairs. Replacement webbing. For lawn chairs. Can you wrap your head around that?
This IS your dads hardware store. This is a store for people who fix things. The kind of people who believe ‘junk’ is a modern invention. People who say «Don’t throw it away, fix it.»
There’s a whole lot more than hardware happening at this store though. It’s a full-​on furniture store and it has an amazingly huge seasonal nursery. Seriously, if you’ve never been here you can’t tell from the outside how big their nursery is. They also have a co little snack bar that sells all the tasty things that weren’t on your shopping list.
This store gets my blood pumping the way an adult theater gets Paul Reuben’s heart rate up (Boom! Roasted!).
Paint, BBQ’s, fasteners, hand tools, power tools, everything you need to keep your stuff tuned up. Their motto should be something like: «It’s not junk if you can fix it.»

I really like this Ace Hardware. I drive 30 miles one way to get to this store because the customer service is awesome. My mother loved their furniture so much that she did not want to look for furniture at any other store. Kelly is so amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows where everything is located in the store. We looked for a clothespin bag at two large discount chain stores and could not find one. We found the perfect one for a low price at this Ace Hardware. Thank you to the whole staff for caring!

Sharon L. is definitely correct about customer service and this store. The employees are friendly and helpful, but they don’t participate in «customer service overkill». They will almost all greet you when walking through the store, and are available when you have questions, but they won’t follow you around, stalking, like a sales shark.
It is your typical Ace Hardware store, but they have a lot of home furnishing as well. Prices are about the same as most other stores of this type, and the selection is very good for most things. It is located right across from Reed High School, and they have a little deli-​type bistro-​kinda thing that the kids pummel during lunchtime. But, the rest of the store is free and clear.
Overall, this is a great store with helpful people and a good selection.

Customer Service is like something from the past: Sales-​people actually try to help you and answer your questions. They are so fiendly! What a pleasure to do business there!
