Lately the quality in their clothing seems to be lacking. I bought a coat here and within a month(and only had worn the coat 3 times), the buttons were coming off. While the pricing is a good discount off what they list as retail, even that low prices seems questionable. Though there is the occasional great deal that can be found on men’s dress shirts and jackets. The staff typically seems standoff-ish to the point where it seems the customer is a bother when asking for assistance. Half the store is geared toward the womans clothings and shoes. ¼ is for mens clothing, and the last ¼ is for kids clothings. There is usually a good portion of clearance items in the back of the store with bags and jewelry in the front and down the middle. Not my favorite place in the legends mall, but I do stop in occasionally to see if there is anything that I might want to get for my hubby.

Came in here yesterday on a lunch break to look for a couple shirts. It was a weekday around noon, the store wasn’t very busy, and there were a ton of employee’s. I was greeted immediately, and then approached at different times by every single employee in the store. They were all nice, but it got pretty irritating. At one point someone came, introduced herself, and asked if I wanted a fitting room. She took my things and I continued to browse, again, more employee’s asking if I needed help. Ugh! I may have been a bit irritable because I was on my lunch break and in a hurry, but it was really annoying. As I was trying my clothes on, one of the gals kept talking to me and asked if I wanted to sign up for a rewards card. I politely said no, I am in a hurry. When I came out of the fitting room, the two ladies outside the room looked shocked that I only came out with 2 of the 8 pieces I took in. «Nothing else worked out? You didn’t like the jeans? You sure you don’t want anything else». After escaping the dressing room ladies, I made my way with my two shirts to the front. No one was in line, but the gal behind the register motioned for me to wait(I guess she was training someone or counting money at the register, I’m not sure.) I didn’t wait too long and another employee came to ring me up. As I was paying she asked me if I wanted a rewards card. I told her no that I was in a hurry. She went on to say, it will only take a second… blah blah blah… seriously?! At this point I just ignored her, since the word«NO» didn’t work. I give them credit for being nice, and appreciate that they were all doing their job by offering help, but it was just over the top and made the visit border line uncomfortable. I won’t come back unless I am not in a hurry and have plenty of time to deal with the overzealous employees.

Walked in had 3 associates ask if I needed help and was followed around through the store. Wow! Way to motivate your customers to leave the store!

I went here recently to shop with my mom. We weren’t greeted when we walked in or when we left, and we also weren’t greeted anywhere on the sales floor. We observed the employees providing customer service to everyone but us. I’m definitely never going back there.

I love Guess brand clothing. What’s even better about it. It’s an outlet! Clothes are at outlet prices. I bought a jacket for $ 60 compared to $ 120 original price! When they have sales like extra 50% off you can snag t-shirts and tops for roughly $ 15-$ 20 which is a steal! Friendly staff! Whenever I’m in Reno, I tried to make a stop at this Guess outlet. Just to check out what they have for new arrivals, I never leave emptied-handed!
