Gymboree is synonymous with parents as a place to buy really cute and, very often, really expensive clothes for your kids. We haven’t shopped at the location at the mall very much because of the price. Unless there’s a really good sale going on or you have some GymBucks to spend, its hard to drop that kind of cash on kids clothes that are going to get stained within a week and outgrown within 6 months. That said, this is their outlet location at the wonderful Legends out in Sparks. Yes, this means most of what they carry is last years styles. But maybe you’re like me and doing care that last year was kittens and this year is pandas. You’re fine with the kittens. The price difference isn’t that great between the outlet and the retail store, unless you happen to hit a great sale. The good news is that great sales come along pretty regularly. And their clearance items at the end of each season are a STEAL. Buy a size up for next year! My kids love to sit in the back and watch TV while my husband and I browse. He looks at the boy’s side of the store for our son while I peruse the girl’s side for our daughter. Very often I see many things I would love to walk out with. Sometimes its hard to stick to that budget! For this reason, the Gymboree Outlet has been labeled as «dangerous». Beware, however, if you walk in with a coupon you got online or through email. Most coupons aren’t valid at this location, though you are able to spend Gymbucks here(or so I am told).

The prices are about the same as the retail store so don’t expect huge savings unless you hit a sale. However, if you love Gymbo and you aren’t that into the current lines this is an option for more variety. I have often seen last year’s designs here. So if you missed an item in the retail store this is a good place to check. Like the retail store, they have a TV playing kids shows and some chairs for the little ones. Purchases here apply to your Gymbo rewards and can earn Gymbucks.
