For a company who is run by disability resources you’d think they would have empathy and compassion for those who are disabled. I bring clients here frequently and have had nothing but terrible service for them. One employee in particular is very rude and talks to disabled people like they are idiots. You’re in the wrong business, dude.

This is a great place for used computers and computer components! The prices on wires, cables and other items are priced extremely affordable. The staff was not very organized but to their defense the store seemed to be very busy and that particular afternoon had a constant rotating front door. Fred was extremely helpful with solving the problem we were having with our authorization for Voc Rehab and multiple other problems that arose with our purchase due to no fault of the New2U store and was able to answer every question that we asked him.. He stayed almost an hour after closing hours to ensure that our software was installed so that we didn’t have to return. Fred also ensured that we had all cables and adapters deemed necessary so that our computer functioned properly when we got home. Kudos to the New2U Staff and especially Fred for going above and beyond! This is a rarity in this day and age to receive great customer service such as this. This was our first time here, but we will be back!

Will the real New2U Computers please stand up? Which one should I remember as my lasting impression — the one that sold me a great computer for a really small price. Or should I remember the place which, when I had a need for a repair, offered a customer service experience that resembled a «Keystone Kops» short run in ultra-slow motion? My computer stopped working on a Wednesday. After some testing, I concluded the power supply had died. I took it to New2U on Thursday morning, saying I believed that was the problem. Although my warranty had expired 15 days before, Jasmine spoke with the manager who agreed to honor the warranty. I was more than pleased. Little did I know, that would be the last happy moment I would experience. Jasmine said to give them a few hours to diagnose the problem and they’d call me. I got no call. On Friday, I went to inquire about the machine and was told by Michael that Jasmine didn’t know what she was talking about and their techs were up to their ears with repairs. However, they were getting through machines fast and I should expect a call that afternoon. Guess what? No call came. On Monday I went to the store again and was told that the machine was«third in line» to be looked at and that they were behind because they HADNOTECHSWORKINGTHEPREVIOUSFRIDAY! The person I spoke to did not say that Michael didn’t know what he was talking about, but he implied as much. Finally got the machine back on Wednesday, fired it up, and all seemed OK. Left to go make dinner. An hour and a half later, I returned to find the room filled with the smell of something burning. The new power supply’s fan wasn’t working and the case was hot to the touch. I unplugged it and brought it back on Thursday, pointing out the fan as the culprit. Jasmine again asked for a few hours to figure it out. Again, no call came. On Friday, after calling and being left on hold for 10 minutes, I went to the store again. The store was empty, but there was a conversation going on in the managers office. Although they saw me come in, no one made a move to speak to me. After a fashion, I walked into the manager’s office and said if my machine couldn’t be fixed today, could I please get it back and I’d buy a power supply somewhere else. Apologies all around. I was introduced to Chris, the«Tech Manager» who said he’d figure out the problem and(at 2pm) said he’d call me in about 40 minutes. By 4:00 I had received no call so I called them, but was told Chris couldn’t be disturbed. Finally got a call back at 4:45 — my machine was ready, but they were closing in 15 minutes. I raced down to pick it up, feeling like I was helping a prisoner escape. New2U Computers is a great source for inexpensive computers and components and since they’re a non-profit whose funds go to the disadvantaged, I believe in them. However, the next time I need a repair, I’m not bringing it there. More’s the pity!

How relieved I am to discover this little gem of a nonprofit! And they can repair Macs as well as PC’s! Great, efficient service, VERY affordable and the money goes to a good cause. What more can you ask for?

I have been coming here for some time now, and have always found great deals on various computer components. I like the fact that the proceeds go to a good cause.
