Every time I come here from out of town they was always good. There wings are hella good. There pizza is hella good. Everything is good there. It’s a bit small but it’s big enough to bring the whole family.

Locals know this is the best place for wings! Love that they have not changed their Ranch recipe and that they have kept it locally owned. Have a location near my house now we just need one by work! (South Reno)

The pizza was pretty mediocre. I ordered a veggie with jalapenos and we had to hunt for the jalpenos. From what I saw I think we got 2 slices and a lot of the end peices. Who wants to eat that? It was doughey as well. I hadn’t been to pizza plus in a while but remembered it was a fairly reasonable place. I guess my memory was wrong. $ 25 for a mediocre medium sized veggie pizza? I think it’s safe to say you can get better for less (or at least the same) in this town. If you find yourself in the neighborhood needing a pizza (as I did) then it’ll do…

Always always love pizza plus. This is the original location that me and my family would go to every week. Always like eating here the pizza is amazing their wings are even more amazing.
Brings back memories from when my dad would buy us pizza plus back when I was young.
My dad has passed on so it makes it even better to know that when I go there it’s still taste great. So glad that they have been consistent on their food for this long.
Can’t wait to take my family here and had the same experience as I did when I was a child.

Ok now, I love pizza plus. It is hands down, the best pizza in town for me. I usually go to the Oddie location, people there are nice, both on the phone and in person. I have placed orders for pick up at this Prater location twice or thrice, only because the Oddie location wasn’t picking up the phone. I assumed because they were very busy. Hence, I called this location. Two of the times I picked up my order from here, I have been «helped» by Melissa.
She is seriously the rudest person, I walked up to the counter and from the get-​go, her face expression showed how unhappy she was helping me. She asked my phone number, charged for my order, then walked over to get my order. She put it on the counter and just said thank you, without even making eye contact, more like a «thank you, move and get off the counter.» I asked her for plates, she rolled her eyes and went to get them, then put them on top. As I checked my pizza, she just yelled Next! And I hadn’t even left the counter yet. Soooo rude!!! Melissa, I think you need a new job where smiling and being nice to customers is not necessary. I will not be visiting this location again any time soon. I rather wait on the phone or go to the Oddie location, where customer are treated better.

I called in a To-​go order and usually when I do the person on the other end of the phone is not happy about it for whatever reason… But tonight I called and Jackie answered and was seriously the nicest person I have ever talked to on the phone. She was patient and overall kind-​and I know to a lot of people that doesn’t matter but to me that speaks volumes about her character. Also pizza plus has the best wings so that’s why we order from there in the first place. Thanks Jackie and pizza plus!

Ordered for a group lunch the day of — they answered the phone at 9 o’clock and helped me out tremendously by agreeing to bring 5 large pizza’s and wings.
Delivery driver was right on time, food was hot & delicious.
Ordered the Carnvivore, the Hawaiian, the combo, etc. First let me say that much pizza feeds way more than the 12 people I had at the meeting. I think at least 2 were untouched, along with ½ the wings. Not for lack of trying, and better to have too much than not enough.
We will continue to order from Pizza Plus because they take care of our people who are on call ²⁴⁄₇.

My boss placed an order at about 1PM for pizzas with wings to be delivered right before 6PM. 6:56PM, and the food still isn’t here. Considering it was for our pizza party for Superbowl, and we get a limited amount of time for lunch, time was an issue — hence placing the order hours beforehand. When my boss called to complain, the manager was full of excuses and finally said, «I don’t care.»
You don’t care? Bruh, there’s like 300 people that work where I work and this is a legit gossip factory. Everyone is gonna know you don’t care to have our cash. I get it’s Superbowl Sunday, but there’s no excuse short of the zombie apocalypse for being over 55 minutes late on an order placed hours ago.
This better be the best pizza and wings I’ve ever had in the 5 minutes I’m going to have to eat.

The food is always really good but the staff could use some improvement. There was one girl doing literally everything while the others just stood around and socialized. When we approached the counter there was a snobby girl asking her if she had the counter or the phone and didn’t do anything while that other one did it all! Have fun enjoying a job at pizza plus forever to whoever that snob was. I don’t know the other girl’s name but I hope her manager recognizes her and gets rid of the lazy employees losing money for the company.

Pizza plus is one of those places that’s delicious because it’s so basic. The pizza tastes like pizza should, the fries are crispy like fries should be, and the wings end up all over my wife’s clothes like everything else she eats (I love you baby).
I’m here right now enjoying the food but not so much the atmosphere. It’s a little loud and the restaurant is a bit dated, but then again, I’m here to get fat on delicious pizza, fries, and wings. Mission accomplished Pizza Plus.

I once frequented this place for its outstanding buffet that included their fantastic wings. Then, the price slowly but surely crept up. But, because the buffet was so good with its pizza, steak fries, and wings, I kept going. Then, the owner did the stupidest thing, the wings were removed from the buffet. Anyone that knows this place knows that its best asset is the wings. And they take them off the buffet??? Idiot move. And, to add insult to injury, the price increased again. Doh! I haven’t been back since. R.I.P, Pizza Plus. You should change your name to «Pizza Minus Wings»

I ordered wings and was told it would be a half hour wait, it’s now been 2 hours and still now food. I undersrand its Cristmas eve but, every time I try and call the store about my order no one answeres the phone. I’m very disappointed.

I ordered the party package over the phone last Saturday and Vanessa was awesome helping me make up my mind, I’m so indecisive. She was patient with me and knowledgeable about the menu and even noted to have extra wing sauce ECT and all was delivered five minutes early last Sunday to our daughter’s fourth birthday party at Jump Man Jump. Kudos to Pizza Plus Prater location on getting it all right! Your food is always a hit and the best value for my dollar. Thank you again Vanessa for all your help and to our delivery guy.

Holy crap on a cracker. Horrible horrible HORRIBLE. All I wanted was a small pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, olives and sausage. Repeated the order THREE TIMES. Also ordered a 2 liter soda. Was put on hold forever, after which the exceptionally incompetent order taker — Vanessa — told me that the minimum order for delivery was $ 15 and my total was $ 13.80 and that the manager wouldn’t allow it. I asked if they could just add a $ 1.20 delivery charge. More time on hold, the answer was no. Vanessa then suggested I upgrade to a medium. I said no, and how much would their smallest order of wings be? She asked me what kind of sauce I wanted. I said I didn’t know, I hadn’t decided to order the wings yet, it depended upon how much they were. Vanessa said that she couldn’t tell me without ringing it up (WTH??). I said «hot» and a moment later she said «Your total for the medium pizza and 16 wings with a 2 liter Sprite is $_​_​_​.» I said hold on a minute, I just wanted a small pizza. She recalculated and out of desperation, exhaustion and hunger I finally agreed to the $ 22.34 bill.
So then the delivery guy shows up, and after he leaves I open the box to see… a pepperoni pizza. Just. Pepperoni (the receipt had all the toppings, but not the pizza). And a mediocre one at best (wings were OK, nothing to write home about).
Never. Again.

Update: I went in and talked to the manager, and showed her the pizza and receipt. Evidently Vanessa lied to me, did NOT actually speak to the manager but rather another employee. Had she spoken to the manager she would have been told that the $ 15– delivery minimum was just a guideline; and $ 13.80 was close enough to deliver.
The Manager also told me that the pizza I got was a light sauce pepperoni, which I got by mistake (with someone else presumably getting mine). This would explain why it tasted mediocre to me.
The Manager apologized and took full responsibility, saying that the fault was hers for not having her crew trained properly. She refunded the entire bill (without me asking) and noted my account to have no minimum delivery charge.
I’ve added a star to this review to reflect the efforts of the manager. I still can not speak to the quality of their pies (other than the mediocre light sauce pepperoni) but I will say that I was impressed with their willingness to make things right and correct problems.
I still can’t recommend them, but I am willing to give them another chance. Though I may wait a bit and give the manager some time to correct issues with her crew…

Lots of delicious pizza

Stopped in for the lunch buffet, but should have kept on going. The food was mediocre to bellow average. Service was poor. The bland pizza was fresh, however there where only two options. The boneless wings where inedible. The salad bar was fresh, but the offerings where slim. I think this is the only buffet in town that you have to pay extra for a soda. Food cost on soda is like $ 0.04. The paper cup it’s served in costs more. That’s just cheap, shitty, and a gouge. Won’t be coming back here for anything.

If we could give it no stars at all, we would. Whoever is answering the calls tonight at 7÷26÷15 at 7:13 pm, should never work customer service. My boyfriend was on the phone with her first, he literally had to repeat his phone number more than 7 times. She kept asking the same question over and over and he was on the phone with her for probably 2 – 3 mins already and still hasn’t gotten to say our first order (we wanted to order 4 different items). Then he hands me the phone, and she starts naming off things we didn’t even ask for or wanted. The first order was a medium pizza with creamy garlic ranch sauce with chicken, bacon, and pineapple. She was literally stuck on the creamy garlic ranch part for over 3 mins. Kept saying different sauces that I DIDN’T WANT. Then I say with chicken, bacon, and pineapple. She starts to say, «Okay​.so medium pizza with…» So I say, «chicken, bacon, and pineapple.» (For the third time by now.) Then she goes, «okay…so medium pizza with…» At this point I say, «I really need to repeat myself again?» So I ask if there’s anyone else that can take my order and they’re so busy so I just hung up.
We’ve ordered from here plenty of times and have never had this much trouble. Over the phone for over 7 mins at least and never even got more information than just our phone number. Whoever that girl is, should never work in customer service.

I really like Pizza plus it is good simple pizza nothing to fancy just cheap pizza. their combo platters are a good deal you get plenty of wings and fries with ranch sauce. they have beer in bottles and on tap some really cheap stuff and some okay beer so pick your poison not sure if they have wine. they can get really busy so keep that in mind. if you get a chance to get in for their lunch buffet it was a great deal last time I got it. check the website for internet only specials.

Nice staff and good pizza. We ordered some pizza for pickup had to wait a bit. But I got there pretty early so that was probably my bad. But good for parties and kids.

Definitely the one of the better wings, pizza, and ranch in Washoe County. Although options are lacking for the types of wings or the way they’re made compared to other restaurants in the vicinity, there is a certain quality and taste to each (*Buffalo is a favorite). The pizza is just great. Similar with other institutions, eaten fresh or cold is delicious (*Jalapeño, pepperoni, and olives is a favorite). One of the best distinguishers when compared with other restaurants is Pizza Plus’ ranch. It’s assumed it is terrible for your health, but it is simply divine.
SERVICE:

This restaurant in particular gets fairly busy during holidays and in general later at night. Food does come out at a normal pace, but overall demeanor of employees can be improved. Expect to extremely long lines during holidays. Also, when it was busy, we did notice employees did ignore phone calls.
CLEANLINESS:

It is clear an effort is made to pick up boxes and trays that are left on tables, however there has been numerous times where we would have to clean our own areas due to the shear number of clients and lack of cleaned tables.
PRICE:
Rating: ⁵⁄₅
Although Pizza Plus is pricier than most pizza joints found in the Reno/​Sparks area, the quality of food is also better. For two individuals, expect to pay around $ 25 for pizza, fries, and wings.
OVERALL:
Rating ⁴⁄₅
Pizza Plus as a whole provides one of the best quality pizzas, wings, and ranch compared with other restaurants in its vicinity. Price is on par with quality and should not be considered if you’re craving something delicious. Since service and cleanliness is lacking, I would only attend for the food only.
