SIZZLERFAIL! Mom and I went to Sizzler tonight, for dinner. We were greeted by the Cashier Trainee, and the new manager. The Manager(a young lady) stuck up a conversation with the customers behind us, since they are her friends. We heard her say so. We also got to hear how they were short a server, so one of the cashier trainee’s had to go to the floor, and how busy she was. Mom and I seated ourselves, got served. The Customers behind us, 2 younger men, sat at the next table. Then the Manager showed up. She spent our ENTIRE visit talking with these guys. The. Whole. Visit. Her young male friends had a LOVELYLOUD conversations, with the«F» word thrown in liberally for flavor. While that did not offend me, as much, my Mother is 82, and it DID offend her. I was annoyed. We could not eat in peace. We could not have a conversation, since the people talking to the manager were being so loud. And not ONE word from the Manager or staff. The cashier trainee had to come and GET the manager to help with some issue. One she should have been there to handle in the first place. It was about this time we decided to leave. Pro’s: Food was still good. We both did the Salad Bar, and it’s standards held up. They have a larger selection of soups on the salad bar, in addition to the wings, chicken tenders, and spaghetti. It looked like there was more than one sauce to choose from, even. Con’s: The new set up for the soups make it hard to reach and ladel out the most popular soup(beef stew). The other two soups had no markings, or anything to indicate what they were. It was something white, something red, and beef stew. No mystery sauce for me, thanks. BIGCON would be the behavior of the Manager. I truly felt she was too young for the responsibility she had if that was going to be her standard. Of course, the homeless guy was there next to my truck when we came out. The same one who holds a sign saying«I pray 4 u that u never have to be homeless. Donate. God Bless» This is the same one who has threatened me on two separate occasions. This has been the thing with Sizzler in the last year. The manager and staff have been really proactive, but the food has been bad. The food has been great, but the manager or staff have been«meh». This time, the staff and food were good. Perhaps they can fix this and move along to «Awesome».

The service at Sizzler is incomparable. Quick seating to the best salad bar in town. The best prices and a staff that constantly meets your needs. Portion size and quality is excellent and so are the managers who consistently, without fail come to your table and ask you about your meal experience. Beautiful building w great people and food. Great options for vegetarians also!

This should be more of a 1.5, but a two will do. It has been several years since I have been to a sizzler and I now remember why that is. My first impression as we walked in was that the staff up front was friendly and helpful. From there things seemed to go «downhill». We were told to seat ourselves, so we looked for a booth. We noticed that the dinning area floor around the majority of tables were dirty. Once we were in the booth we noticed that the walls of the booth were not clean(stains on them). Our server did not introduce herself. However, she did bring our drinks and their refills in a timely manor. She also cleared plates from the table to avoid any clutter The cheese toast, while it tasted fine, was just«tossed» into a basket one slice on top of the other with one of them«squished» in the middle. We were only three pieces to share between the two of use. What happened to endless cheese toast? The steaks, while cooked perfectly medium rare, we’re not seasoned, a bit chewy, and the charred taste took over. The broccoli side was steamed, but also lacked any seasoned flavor. The mash and gravy were ok at best. The vegetable beef soup was bland as were chicken wings. The broccoli crunch and farmers market salads did not taste good at all. Th cottage cheese was warm!!! Women’s bathrooms were dirty. This was my wife’s first and last trip to Sizzler

First time I have been at a Sizzler since 1995. I could not help but laugh to myself the entire time because I was recalling all these childhood memories from the Sizzler… Weird, I know but I guess you needed to be there to fully understand my experience. We had a great dinning experience! The restaurant was clean, the salad bar constantly being maintained with fresh ingredients and options, and the server was spectacular! We will definitely be going back next time we want some Sizzler Salad Bar! 5 stars, must go, see you there! LOL

Sizzler remains alive in NWNV in Sparks. Tonight had the featured dish Steak tips over mashed potatoes with a side salad and Ron had the tri-tip with sweet mashed potatoes and salad bar.

If you order a steak and it’s under cooked they will re fire your steak. The steak tasted like foil and from what I tasted. The server only came by 3 times. Once to give us silverware and drinks then again to give us our food and when the steak that we ordered«well» it came back burnt. The salad bar was sad and didn’t have as many things as I remember from times before.

They went down hill there for a while, but we had a coupon so we tried it again. My husband LOVES the salad bar and he doesn’t use dressing so he knows when the selections aren’t fresh(as was the case the last time we we’re here) He said it was very good! one chicken wing was a little under done but that was the only one. we’ll be back because he LOVES his salads!

Sizzler offers great customer service, great food, and the endless salad bar is a favorite with over 50 different items, homemade soup, as well as a big selection of lunch and dinner items to choose from. But overall Sizzler, is great for lunch and dinner, small or big groups or family functions.

My husband and I went to lunch here last week on his day off. I wish now we had went somewhere else. The drinks we got were horrible(raspberry lemonade) and we told our waitress we both needed some water and she brought out one glass. Seriously? I know there is a drought but that is terrible service. The food we ordered wasn’t even edible. The salad bar was out of chicken wings… my husband and i gave up trying to eat and just went home. That was a waste of 40 dollars we will never see again.

I can’t remember how long since I’ve been here last. Anyway, now you walk in, order at register, and pay for the meals. Then you have to walk around to find available table yourself. I felt it was a little odd. I ordered«Fresh» Salmon Steak, and it was around $ 13. It looked delicious, but it didn’t smell or taste fresh to me, unfortunately. For side, I got sweet mashed potatoes, and I like it very much. My husband ordered steak with steamed vegetables as side dish. Both of our order came in a very small portion. I guess you can do the add-on salad bar for $ 5.99.(Regular salad bar price was $ 10.99). My girls got kid’s salad bar. They seemed enjoyed the selection of salad bar that includes salad, spaghetti, ice creams, and soups. I ordered mango lemonade. It had sweet fruity smell and tasted great! Wait until the ice melt so it won’t be too sweet. May be it was the end of day/shift thing, all wait staff looked tired. No one greeted or smiled at us. Also, three out of four silver ware sets weren’t clean Not sure if I will return. $ 20 meal /person for this food and services.

It’s not 1985 anymore. When I was young my folks used to take us to «The Sizzler» a couple of times a month. It was a huge event. We’d get dressed up and sit proper and enjoy the salad bar in all of its shining glory while my parents ate steak and lobster. I remember I couldn’t get enough of the clam chowder and mandarin oranges. When our parents told us we had ate enough and were allowed to get up from the table my sister and I would go to the dessert bar and make the most beautiful sundaes for dessert. My parents loved it because you could get steak and lobster for two, plus two salad bar add on’s and 2 kid salad bars for less than $ 40.00. It’s 2015 now. I’m all grown up and I’ve got kids. I’m not cool enough to take them to Sizzler as much as my folks took me. Mostly because the prices have gone up so much that I just can’t justify spending $ 60-$ 70 for a family of 4 at a salad bar. I can’t honestly say if the food quality has changed because, when you’re 8 — clam chowder is clam chowder no matter what it tastes like but to my adult pallet they are sometimes lacking. The salad bar is usually decently stocked but the mushrooms on my last trip were far to brown and smelled a tad off. Service is always good. The wait staff smiles each time and they don’t let your drinks stay empty for too long. The bathrooms are old and dingy and sticky(yeah — sticky) and need to be renovated. At the end of the day Sizzler is just a Sizzler — don’t expect too much and you’ll be happy. I’m doing a rating of 3 on it because of the costs for each and every«add on» they have. I know it’s not 1985 but for $ 60 — $ 70 I should be able to get better quality.

The husband and I went to sizzler for dinner the other night. The meal was actually good until I saw a hair in my mushrooms. The waitress asked if everything was ok and I showed her the hair on my mushrooms. She went to get the manager who asked me if I wanted a new meal, I said no because I was halfway done. He then said well I will give you something to use towards your next visit. He comes back with a $ 5 gift certificate!!! $ 5? Now I didn’t say anything when he handed it to me because I guess I was just so stunned that that was all they think my whole meal was worth to them! Shame on you sizzler! I would of at least shelled out $ 10!

Excellent and varied salad bar for under $ 10. In addition to a broad array of vegetables and fruit, the salad bar includes a variety of casseroles, chicken wings, and spaghetti & meatballs.

Best salad bar ever, steak and shrimp was delicious and cooked to perfection, my husband had the steak and lobster deal($ 12.99) and he said it was also perfect. We will definitely return and hopefully get Cierra(sp) our waitress was great, if not hopefully they wait staff is as good as her. The manager actually came around and ask customers how the food was and if they needed anything. Highly impressed with this restaurant. The broccoli crunch salad and fresh avocados were scrumptious.

Simple, very affordable, and the steak was great. There isn’t a whole lot to say about a Sizzler. The service was fast and friendly, the salad bar was neat, tidy, fresh, and well stocked. The other customers were hilarious and interesting. I was watching this one table who had 2 kids, a Mom, and very grumpy Grandmother who got mad at the girls for everything, expecially when one of them wanted to get up to go over and have alook at the desserts. The grumpy Grandma griped at the girl about how she«always» gets up from the table too much. The best part was when she did finally quit lecturing the kid, and went to get up. She was a bit rotund, and having trouble squeezing out of the booth, so she started grunting and rocking to get up. Then she tells the little girl«See? Look at what you’re making me do, you know I can’t even get out of this thing dammit Jenny!» Just then I accidentally made eye contact with the younger girl on the opposite side of the table who was visibly about to crack up, which made me almost crack up, then I had to look down at my table and play it off like I was coughing. Another table had a very large lady with an apparent eating disorder who kept saying the word«more» like literally 20 times during her meal. Believe me, I wasn’t judging, just discreetly observing. For example, before the server could even unload the drinks and cheesy bread, the lady stuffed a cheesy bread in her mouth and said to her«um can we get more cheesy bread please?» with her mouth full. Then she wanted the server to get her some blue chese dressing for her chicken wings, but the server told her that the blue cheese was waiting for her over at the salad bar. I see these prescription drug commercials for the over eating disorder with all the heavy set actors, and the inner voice saying«have I had enough, do I feel full?» I never thought it was real. I know and love plenty of overweight people, but have never noticed them gorging themselves with food. I tally it up to slow, lame ass metabolisms; hell I’ve got one myself. But no, this poor lady was a real over eater. She had like 5 refills of soda. And I kept hearing her say«more.» Wow I really went off the rails! Anywho, I got out of there for under $ 12.00 so I left a nice tip for the hard working server.

I only give them two stars because the salad bar was OK. The place was filthy though and it made me sick thinking that everything was so dirty. The center dividers and the glass partitions look like they have never been washed. Also, I was sitting at a spot that gave me a look into the kitchen and the kitchen was also filthy. Considering that I had just arrived probably 30 minutes after they had opened I don’t see how the kitchen could have been such a mess already. One of the bus boys(man) had a runny nose and just ran his whole wrist/hand under it and then wiped it on his pants while he was walking to clean up a table. I am so disgusted. I will not eat here again.

I would put a zero star if I could. Worst service I’ve ever gotten. Ordered a signature sizzler steak, medium. After 20 minutes, It came WELLWELL done and even my steak knife couldn’t cut through it. I asked them if they could re-do it and asked if it would take another 20 minutes. The manager said it would only take a few minutes. After another 20 minutes my kids didn’t want to be there any longer. I told them to forget the steak and just give me my money back. They fought me and tried to give me $ 5 for a $ 15 steak. I told them absolutely not. I had ONE trip to the salad bar, no drink refills and not even one bite of my steak. After 15 minutes of fighting me they finally gave me $ 5 more dollars. I had enough and left. Never ever ever again.

Went for lunch yesterday and had the salad bar with the veggie beef soup. Really enjoyed this. The salad bar has a huge selection of not only green salad veggies but, the other side has many pre-made salads like potato, pasta, and assorted yumminess. The soup was thick and more like a nice stew really and very good. It was tasty without a lot of salt. I don’t eat much salt at all, so am very sensitive to it and this soup was tasty without someone adding a bunch of salt to try and make up for lack of flavors. It might come from a can, I don’t know but, it was good. This is a great place for a tasty, fast lunch. I can’t say much beyond what the salad bar was like but, I would eat there again. There’s also a desert bar! There was some yummy looking items there too but, I refrained. :) Good value for what you get. The staff is friendly, the drinks and bread showed up quickly so it was overall a good experience and the price is right for a decent lunch.

I don’t ever go to sizzler with the expectation of great food. Our visit tonight was actually top notch though. The steak and salad bar for $ 10.99 was just the right price and the steak was actually very very good. Cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Compliments to the cooks. The salad bar was always fully stocked with FRESH good foods, our server was very attentive and polite. The manager that the turd in the previous comments so rudely called«fat jerk» did stop by to make sure all was well, was polite and not at all what the other commenter made him out to be. Well done tonight Sizzler. Keep up the good work.

Whenever I think about Sizzler, I never have any really high expectations. Probably because it’s just a cheap salad bar. But that’s the beauty in it– IT’S A CHEAPSALADBAR! Woo hoo! We went there for dinner Saturday night. It was busy, I expected that. It took a little while to pay and be seated– but after that everything was great! We ordered steak + salad bar and shrimp + salad bar. It was $ 1 more than just salad bar for the meat and a side. Exactly what you’d expect for just a dollar more, but the salad bar was great! It was clean, fresh, and refilled often! Our server was amazing! Our drinks were never empty! I was really only interested in the salad bar, that may be why I was so impressed. But I will definitely be back!
