Sparks Police Department

Seems like there always put to get there quota never even bother to ask any thing just blam here’s your ticket wish they could be more like rpd but that’s a lot to ask seeing how I never seen or heard of a nice police officer here even the one who wrote up my police report my 2 yr old coulda said more then he did so thanks a lot buddy coulda used the report for my law suit !!! Exp after Christmas u think u catch a little break on a ticket hell no ! All they see is $$$$$$$ such a crap city to live in when u have these people protecting you from speeding !!! I’m sure they can find something else better to do can’t wait to move back to Reno ! I’m gonna speed on purpose down there just to prove what I’m talking about ! Look for video update in next 6 months ;)

This place has a complete lack of communication, the officers will tell you that what they do (wether they write citations, put out warrants, or forward things to the D.A.) is not up to them. I spoke to the front desk twice with in the past week, and asked what I needed to to with regard to a letter that I received, they told me, and I asked them to make sure that they had a notation that they had spoken with me, along with my phone number. They said they would. After sending the information that was asked for in regard to the letter I received, I called again and let them know that I had done so, and asked them again to note that I had done so. They must not have made any notes at all, because the next day they had a policeman from my town at my door to give me a phone number to call them. So with the policeman still at my house, I called them and left a message at the provided number with my name and phone number. I never received a call back.
Then this afternoon, the same police man that was at me door yesterday, was sent to my house again today to get my phone number yet again. With the off ice from my town still at my door, the Sparks P.D. Officer Flowers, tells the policeman that is standing next to me that he is going to call me on my cell, and that once he does the officer can leave. Really? What is the matter with him talking to me while there is an officer present?
Officer Flowers then toold me to hold on, put me one speaker phone with someone else in the room talking to him rather loudly, and asked me for a statement. I gave him my statement. He then proceeded to ask me why another person made a decision as if I were a psychic or something. I don’t read minds, and I don’t make other people’s decisions, and I don’t speculate. He was rude, arrogant, unsympathetic, immplied that I was a liar, and apparently did not listen to anything that I told him. He then proceeded to tell me that him submmitting a form to another department and what happens after that is not up to him.
I beg to differ. There is a seven letter word for this guy and his unprofessionalism, lack of responsibility, implications, tatics, and wasting of taxpayers hard earned money.
