It’s basically an aging Motel 6 folks. Guess it works in a pinch? I chanced a stay based upon the reputation of the casino, which is known as a «locals» casino with better odds than some of the larger resort properties. The location is also a trucker’s stop slighly off the beaten path from Reno & Central Sparks. I had TV, plumbing, housekeeping, internet and ambient sound issues during my stay. The motel has also very recently started adding yet another small $ 2 surcharge on top of all the other add-on taxes. Reno-Sparks area«marketing tax» they call it, passed by NV legislators. Not really a good value here all things considered.

The staff was very helpful, check-in was a breeze, last minute call from in town to reserve a King suite. Good pricing, although I thought it a bit high. Dog/pet friendly(for a nightly fee). Our problem was the residual tobacco smoke even though we had requested«non smoking» room, the corridors were ‘smoky’ as well. Otherwise the typical hotel breakfast snacks. Casino next door is the real draw here, along with the noisy returning revelers.
