Don’t bother with this place. Enjoyed walking around checking out the junk. Found a couple of worthy tools. But the girl said they were not for sale. I said don’t put stuff out if it’s not for sale! JEEEZ…

Great Place! I went in there for a dresser for my little girl and they just got a shipment in, «trailer load». I had a bunch to pick from, so I got what I needed for a GREAT price, they put it in my truck for me. very good service. THANKSGUYS!

HORRIBLE. This place is not kid friendly at all while every employee smokes in the building with your child in it(which is illegal in the first place). Not only do they smoke with my child in the building they try to sell cribs, bedding, clothing, etc in there Which harbors their nasty cigarette smoke! Also they have teenage boys dealing with knives out of the cases last time I checked you had to be 18 to handle weaponry. Will not return here

Good place to find used furniture with a little bit of antique class. They have some really neat pieces in there! Tough to get them to deliver on time, though…

Unbelievable, in the best way. Literally cannot believe what a treasure this place is. They have one of everything ever created. I could spend a lifetime exploring their wide variety of collectables and awesome eclectic items. I wish I had more time to explore this wonderland. Family owned, literally. Every single one of them was welcoming, personable, and helpful. Damian is my homie for life; he knows everything about the store and this industry. If you are a connoisseur of the interesting and undiscovered— this IS your final resting place.

I was very disappointed with this store. Everything was priced very high first of all. Then, everything smells like smoke. I was in there today with my one year old, and 3 of the employees were smoking right in the store. As if my daughter wasn’t right in front of them. I was so disgusted I had to leave. I won’t go back to this store or tell anyone I know to go here. Very awful customer service and very selfish of them blow smoke right next to my baby.

The gentleman that helped us today was friendly and helpful. We live out of town but decided to stop here to look around. We found a glass decanter for $ 45. The gentleman agreed to $ 40. Once we got to the counter a HATEFULBLONDEWOMAN who said it was her store, was mad about the discount and was rude to us during the transaction. She is lucky I didn’t throw the glass decanter at her. She ended her rant with ‘we are not a thrift store.’ Well, check the name of your store, because it says trash! We will never return here! Go haggle with her if you do go here. Make her mad :)

Lots of variety in this store! From miscellaneous household items you thought you’d never see again, to newer, modern figurines. Prices are reasonable based on what the items true value is. Lots of antique and vintage furniture as well. There is a lot to experience when going into this store. Plus the staff, although an odd bunch, is extremely friendly and more than willing to help customers who have a particular item in mind.

Our first time there. Its an interesting store with exactly what they say, a few treasures, some trinkets, and lots of trash — but fun trash at that. The employees are very nice and helpful, frequently offering help. Noticing that I was looking at several things several times a nice young man asked if I needed help. I thanked him(because rarely does one get such excellent service) and said no. As he walked off he said if you see something you want, prices are negotiable! We looked and chose a pair of speakers at $ 9.88. Unfortunately we also chose an item with no price. While waiting for a price we chatted with the woman behind the front counter. I mentioned how much I liked the name of the business. She said her husband came up with it and that she and her husband owned 5 other businesses like this one. A few more moments of pleasant chatter happened before another nice woman returned with the item and said it was $ 10. I said«How about $ 8». The formerly nice woman behind the front counter replied with a fairly nasty no. I thought at first she must not have known how she sounded. We started to debate amongst ourselves when she said«Since you can’t decide let’s finish this up» in just a nasty a tone. I had hoped my friend would leave the speakers and walk out, but he paid. In the car he said, «Well that’s too bad, I really liked that place.» We agreed, but none of us are going back.

So so disappointed :( Had been dying to go, you walk in and go, «Wow!» It’s a huge warehouse. But I couldn’t stand the second hand smoke from the employees and had to leave. It was bad! The prices I did see were really way to high for a thrift shop. They must rely on eBay to stay in business.

Okay, after reading Jon C’s review and visiting today, I’m convinced that this store is run by a man with a serious hoarding problem. What store owner doesn’t want to sell his merchandise? The place is essentially a warehouse full of all the stuff you want, and most of the stuff you don’t. Odd mix of new and used items, with some things priced very affordably and some with super high prices. We picked out a lamp without a shade, which the salesperson told us was«brand new» though it had scuffs and white marks on it. After the odd«what is it worth to you» negotiation, we settled on $ 25, and left it at the counter to go find a shade. When we came back to the counter, a bearded guy was standing next to the salesperson. He informed us gruffly that part of the lamp was missing, so we couldn’t buy it. We couldn’t figure out what would be missing, apart from the shade. Could we just put this random shade on it and buy the lamp? Nope, it was no longer for sale. Lesson learned: Don’t try to buy anything when the beard dude is around. We had planned to buy a poster from the front of the store, too(note: lots of naked elf figurines and tattooed fake skulls, in case you’ve been looking for those) but decided to never spend any money here, ever. It’s a shame, there’s a lot of cool stuff in this store. But apparently they’re more interested in hoarding than in selling, which is probably why the place was completely crammed with stuff, and completely devoid of customers.

I don’t think there’s anything quite like this business in the Reno/Sparks area. Treasures, Trinkets & Trash is a gigantic family-owned warehouse full of… well, everything the family owns, I guess. It’s sort of like a one-family flea market. According to their Facebook page, they sell«Furniture, Construction tools, Jewelry, Clothes, Home Decorations, Christmas Trees, Antiques, vintage items, knives, pocketwatches, decoratives, Vacuum Cleaners, Table & Chair Set, Dressers, Lamps of all kinds, Patio & Outdoor items, Plus so much more.» Do you see a theme there? I don’t. I went in there seeking a bolt of green cloth(for green screen effects), hoping to find it cheaper than at a fabric store. And sure enough, they had a bolt of green cloth. The owner summoned her son over, who climbed precariously to a shelf about twelve feet in the air to retrieve it. I was a little afraid he was going to break his neck, but I was reassured that there was a reason he was known as «the monkey.» Upon retrieving the cloth, the owner said, «Okay, make me an offer.» I said, «I have no idea what cloth is worth. Twenty bucks?» So, she went to talk to her husband, and when she came back, she informed me that he didn’t want to sell it. This, apparently, is a man who likes his green cloth and dislikes the idea of parting with it. She hypothesized that he wanted to use it as part of Christmas decoration, but wasn’t sure. Anyway, it’s a weird, cool store with a lot of completely random stuff in it, but don’t try to buy their green cloth. That green cloth belongs to them, goddamn it.
