Can I only give 5 stars? I have goose bumps just thinking of the wonderful thing this company did for the family of a fallen soldier yesterday. I am an Army Casualty Assistance Officer helping a family whose loved one, a soldier, died. His ashes were to be given ½ to his mother and ½ to his wife. A funeral home dropped the ball in ordering a 2nd urn(the Army provided one) and I did not find this out until 3:45pm Friday and the ashes were to be presented Saturday morning. PANIC!!! A different funeral home, Hamel Funeral Care & Cremation, agreed to help me(in person) and the widow(on phone & e-mail) figure out what was acceptable and doable for the next morning. I truly wish I could post a picture of this urn that Ziegler & Ames had at my door the next morning at 8AM. It was not only engraved with the name, dates, & quotes, but it even had the engraving of a drawing of the soldier done by a local artist. This urn was AMAZING and SPECTACULAR. Even the crematorium said it was the most beautiful urn they ever saw. The widow was overwhelmed when she saw it. But what was even more beautiful than this urn was the gesture that was made by the Ziegler & Ames Co. They charged this family nothing for it. They made this as a gesture of love and respect to a military family that already sacrificed so much. I know I can speak for this family when I say THANKYOU to the Ziegler & Ames Company for that act of kindness. It is people like you that give me great faith in humanity.
