This review is long overdue, but not for a lack of good work – far from it! Brandon and his family were absolutely wonderful to work with. I chose to do a photoshoot with my horse, Boden, as I’d never had professional pictures done of us before. From the beginning, Brandon was extremely helpful in selecting a perfect location, as well as accommodating my inconsistent schedule(I’m military) and picking the right time so that lighting would be golden. We ended up selecting an off-the-beaten-path spot in the woods. Brandon took a fair amount of time scoping out the best shots, and we ended up doing several by the most beautiful scenic brook, as well as shots including the October late afternoon sky and light. Needless to say, with the awesome foliage and color, it was a gorgeous shoot! On top of all of that, Brandon is very experienced with horses, as is his lovely assistant(his wife!). They are patient with horses and their usual shenanigans, like being fidgety or(god forbid) spooky, so they are mindful of things that could potentially scare horses. Brandon also took his time with the photos – while some photographers keep you to a stricter time window or even number of shots, regardless of quality, Brandon does the opposite. He devoted his entire afternoon to working with us, and by the time we were trailering the horse out, it was dusk! He was very devoted to ensuring that our experience was wonderful, and he exceeded that and more. Brandon comes highly recommended as a hospitable professional, talented photographer, refined editor, and all the tasks in between(horse wrangler, trail blazer, etc!). Thank you again to Brandon and his family for making my first horse photo shoot so perfect and memorable. My horse is my whole heart, and now, I have the most elegant and beautiful pictures to display and cherish for years to come. I’m only sad that he’s no longer local to the Washington DC area, as I won’t be able to have him do another shoot for us! Thanks again Brandon, and enjoy your new adventures in Tennessee!
