This is Great BBQ. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. They have great BBQ sandwiches and GREAT pulled pork sandwiches. Staff is pretty friendly. The inside is not air conditioned but they have garage doors that open up to the outside. It’s a god truck with a building attached to it. Great place to get some awesome BBQ. Visit here for some good food. Will not disappoint.

Well it started off with me asking what would you recommend the response was we don’t give recommendation. Not very friendly. So I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with the two sides potato salad and baked beans the pulled pork was ok didn’t think it was smoked potato salad was very mayoee baked beans were very good I thought for 12.00 was a little high for what it was.

My husband had the pork sandwich, I tried the sausage and brisket. This place is ok. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Barbeque sauce is the sweet kind. Not very friendly gals.

Just wave at the place and walk over to McDonald’s, and order a couple McRib sandwhiches. Trust me it will taste better. The ribs were burnt on the ends and the meat was dry and tough. The baked beans were over seasoned which made them hot. (Mouth on fire hot). Let’s not forget the potato salad. If I had to choose a word and not be vulgar «BLAK» would probly do it. I have never in my 48 yrs of existence had or saw any potato salad like this. While waiting on my food a guy ordered the brisket sandwhich. He left only to come back a few minutes later to request a new bun because his was soggy. When they handed his sandwhich back. the man said” I have eaten bbq all over the country, and that was not bbq it tasted more like pot roast”.

Well, I was disappointed to say the least. I ordered a «Pulled Pork Sandwich» & «Smoked Sausage» ($ 14.00). I requested «No Bread» with the Sausage and got exactly that. Menu says. «All Sandwiches come with a bag of chips & a pickle spear». You would think that by ordering «two» items off the sandwich menu that I would have gotten two pickle spears right? «No», one pickle spear. I did take two bags of chips though. One item I always order when trying a new BBQ Joint is Potato Salad. Kinda hard to screw up «Potato Salad» or so I thought. The Potato Salad contained «Potato’s», about 3x’s the amount of Mayonnaise than it needed and Dill. That’s it! Your most basic of Potato Salads. Now for the Meats. The Pulled Pork looked and tasted as though it was pulled early in the morning (I purchased my sandwiches around 5:30pm) and to say it was «Dry» is an understatement. Now I understand why there was so much mayo in the potato salad. I also ordered «Smoked Sausage» which I did receive but what I didn’t expect was to find «Microwaved» sausage. This link never even got close to a grill! As I said, disappointing to say the least. I get better BBQ back home. So «Two Stars» is all I’m giving and I think even that’s being generous.

Tough pork, not moist at all! Amount of BBQ sauce they put on sandwich was pathetic, does not brew sweet tea, so not a real BBQ joint! Will not return!

GREAT BBQ! Right next to Loves truck stop, well worth walking across the parking lot and avoid Subway (inside the truck stop). $ 6.00 for a sandwich, potato salad is homemade & compliments the bbq! All that & a free bag of chips! Try it, if you like bbq, you’ll love this place! Dine inside or outside too!

On our way to Louisville when we saw this place next to a truck stop. Was a little worried as there was only one customer in the place. This is a truck stop place and not a fancy bar b q joint. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich, a drink and chips for $ 8. Not a bad price. The pork was stacked high on the bun. Lots of fat and not all that much taste so we added some of the sauce on the table. Made it somewhat better. Don’t know exactly how they are cooking the meat. Did not taste like it was been smoked outside. More of a «crock pot» taste for us. The service is without smiles or «thank you’s».Neat looking little place and the internet photo for their site makes it looks awesome.

The 1 star reviews are obviously competitors or just angry people. Because this place is nothing less than extraordinary!

I will preface this by saying I’m not from KY and am married to a man from TX who has spoiled me with his amazing BBQ/​smoking skills and introduced me to the most amazing little spots with amazing BBQ.
This place has food that is utterly inedible. Their beef brisket us old, flavorless, dry and my dog turned his nose up at it. The Mac n cheese was watery and box cheese reminiscent. The coleslaw was vile as well warm and tasted of mold. I am praying I do not get sick from the tastes that I took of this food.
If you are looking for good BBQ in this part of the country head into City BBQ in Florence, their pitmaster also hales from the great state of Texas and NEVER serves subpar anything.

We stopped in off of interstate for lunch. We love BBQ and have eaten BBQ all over the country. That said, the brisket was just okay, a little dry. All the hubs has to say about it is that «it filled the gap». Not a great endorsement from him. He did love the baked beans. I ordered the coleslaw and couldn’t eat it. We really can’t recommend this place.

A surprising find, with ridiculous amounts of delicious food at a great price. The home made sauces are definitely worth a try .
I got the sampler platter, which let me get 3 meats, 2 sides, and some bread for $ 16. The chicken was juicy, the brisket was tender and crisp, and the pulled pork knocked my socks off.

I am from out of town and was trying to find a local place to eat. Considering this was like in the middle of nowhere I was surprised of the quality of the food. Try the brisket. It is good. Tender and flavorful

This place is a joke for bbq .meat taste like water there was no flavor at all, the sides were turning, the buns were old and dry. there is nothing good about this place.
