My husband, myself and his parents came here for take-​out for dinner on a Friday night. We should have read the reviews before we stopped in, but it was a fly by the seat of our pants moment.
We sat down to order and there were about 4 other tables already eating and a few people at the bar with drinks. The lack of people should have been a red flag but once again, we just wanted our food to take home.
Our waiter took our order and let us know that it would «be right up.» Little did we know that it would be AN HOUR later. As time passed, no one else came in to order anything other than drinks. My husband went up to ask what’s taking so long after waiting 45 minutes for take-​out. Once again, it would «be right up.»
Cue another 15 minutes and my husband went up AGAIN to ask. 5 minutes later, we got our food from our waiter. He said he’d be right back with the cheque, but no.
My father-​in-​law and I had to go up again and ask where the cheque was. The girl at the desk had to find our waiter to get our cheque.
Oh wait, it gets better. By this time, we’re so frustrated and just want to leave. As I’m holding my card out to pay, he turns to chit-​chat with his co-​worker. We have been in this God-​forsaken place for over an hour for take-​out. We just want to go home and eat.
Finally, he takes my card and then walks to the back with it! My father-​in-​law has to get his attention again for him to run the card so we can leave!
He comes back and his attitude completely changed. «Well, I was trying to get you guys a discount on your food…» He said, in a snotty tone. At this point again, we have to tell him to run the card because we just want to leave.
AFTER 10 minutes, we finally pay our bill. Our waiter then says in the most underhanded way, «we were really busy, you know.» Yeah, okay, buddy.
We get home an hour and 20 minutes after we ordered our take-​out and the food is completely disgusting. I opened my box to see the most unappetizing food I have ever had the displeasure to look at. After 2 bites of my fish taco, I could feel my stomach churning from the rancid grease they used to batter this «fish.» My mother-​in-​law ordered the shrimp basket and her’s was dipped in the same rancid grease.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even my worse enemy. Not only is the service horrendous but the food isn’t even fit for human consumption. If there was a zero star option, I would select it in a heartbeat.

I created this Unilocal account just to wsrn people about how horrible this place is. Ive ate at other lication alot and never had problem. First we come in and stand there for a while. Told to have a seat wherever. We do. We sit there for 15 mins while other families come in after us and are waited on. We sit there looking for help. Then when apps come we have to go up get own playes whivh were wet. Had to search down ketchup for sins fries. Get food finally and its literally half the portion I get at other location. Our waitress just took off to sing with band or something and finally another man comes and trilys to take care of us. I have never felt more unwanted by a service establishment. I will never come here again and will tell others about my expirance. Just watched another table come in and sit so long. They just left and they npt that busy. Must be doing well if they can just turn away customers and treat people like crap

I do not recommend this. Thought this would be a good place to eat because it was packed when we got there… but sadly no. Ordered our food and appitizer. The appitizer was the cheesy garlic bread with marinara sauce. Waited 30 mins for it to come and all it ended up being was a toasted sandwich bun with cheese on it… very disappointed. Then our meal came… there was issues with each of our plates… I ordered mine with chips… I got fries… my husband ordered the meal with fries… he got no fries. We could see the cooks/​servers eating food in the back… Prolly my chips… my mushroom swiss burger has no flavor… never again!

Wound up here for dinner having no plans and was pleasantly surprised. Food was good and waiter friendly. Will go back again

I could have gotten a better burger from the local school cafeteria…
Upon arrival, it was pleasantly plump and thick. I usually put a mixture of Mayo and ketchup, to replicate my favorite flavor in a burger. I bit into a mouth full of grease and squishiness.
The burger was very loosely packed, and it seemed the cook did not even mash the burger down to extract the grease. The grease was so over whelming that I could not even taste my Mayo/​ketchup mixture, I had to add more, and even then it made no difference.
The bun was lightly toasted but just the burger was just too greasy, that it even made the homemade chips that accompanied it, un-​appetizing.
An added bonus for kids, is the ‘make your own pizza’ where they bring out the cold ingredients and the kids get to dress thier pizza. I think it is this activity that brings my experience up from a 1, plus the other food is OK.
So to sum it up, If I had not had the Burger, or known about it, I would maybe give it a 4. The wings also balanced out at a 3, no special signature flavorings/​seasonings
So I think it leans toward a 2, or 2.5

This is what passes for a bar in Sparta. However, their food is probably the best to be had in town.
The meat lovers pizza was outstanding, and consistently good.
