We go quite often. TCBY yogurt is pretty consistent– we find the place always clean and the kids working there are always sweet.

Owner is nasty and the place is grimy. Watched workers pick up toppings off the ground and put it back in the container. Never coming back

TCBY has always been over priced, but now, I get to have 3 teens stare at me while I «serve myself» then have to WAIT, yes, wait for them to stop talking about their tweets to take my money… give it up!

Definitely a chain, but with a local owner and a local feel that set it apart. It has reinvented itself to feel more modern. I agree that Pinkberry is unbeatable as far as taste and flavors, but this is a solid choice for Sussex county, and I like it better than the new place down in the Roxbury mall, too… and it’s definitely cheaper than Pinkberry too. With toppings, TCBY impressed me by offering really delicious fresh blueberries in the summertime, and I can’t get enough of the mini raspberry truffle cups… wish I knew where to find them in a store… yum.

As a company, TCBY has definitely re-made itself to become a more current frozen chain. It’s self-serve: you get the yogurt and you can add as many toppings as you wish. At about 50¢ an ounce, it doesn’t seem expensive but it adds up quickly. Friendly staff and a cool atmosphere. Glad to finally have a legit fro-yo stop in Sparta. However, it’s not the best tasting fro-yo I’ve had. Yogurtland definitely beats it when it comes to taste, so if one of those were to open in town, this place wouldn’t last. And for me personally, Pinkberry will always have the best tasting frozen yogurt, but they’re exclusive to cities.

TCBY returns to Sparta after a long absence, and its not like it was before! This new version is the same model as Cups and others like it — self serve fro-yo and toppings, pay by weight. Very cool space, lots of choices and well staffed. The lines are going to be crazy for a bit until the novelty wears off, but I don’t think it’s popularity is a fad. Right kind of place for this town.
