Tj’s Pizzeria Cafe

Pizza was delicious, lots of options by the slice. We were with a wedding party and they gave us garlic knots on them and were very sweet.

Garbage. Go to McD’s for a real meal compared to this dump. Ordered the quesadilla. Previous owners made it well with a delicious chipotle mayo and fries. This was D– taco bell at its best. And the owner is a jerk to his employees. Apparently Don Juan feels it’s right to cuss out innocent teenagers in front of customers. Classy a hole. STAY AWAY!!!

While on vacation in New Jersey I stopped at TJs for some pizza and was appalled at what I just saw. I watched the owner verbally abuse his young female employees. Even calling one of them «bitch». Completely unacceptable on so many levels. Never again will I come here.

One of the best pizzarias in town. Only recently started coming here but i am definitely impressed. Apperantly they are under new ownership, i hear the new owner did a lot to turn this place around. Food looks great and tastes even better. One of the few pizza places that also seves soup, if your in the mood fore something lighter. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the ara. I think the guys name is Donnie, nice guy to talk to while you wait.

ALL YOU HATERS from 2011 and 2012, get a clue: There are new owners. The pizza is excellent. Go back and try it. We had a delicious dinner there too with excellent service.

Being a New Yorker, know my Italian food and pizza, as well as quality and quantity. This place is always on point, my orders taken flawlessly, food is delivered hot and with huge portions for a great price!! This place feeds me a few times a month and never disappoints. dont know about these other reviews but for take out and delivery, this place is tops!

The problem with Sparta is the Pizza. You have Franks who do not deliver, not the best but okay. You have some new pizza that is owned and managed my The Pizza Place, GROSS. But TJs should be okay.
Here is my order.
2 slices, chicken parm meal with Mot sticks, Bread and Salad.
The outcome:
Came sort of quick. Received 3 mott sticks with sauce? Really 3? Then the Chicken Parm. Okay I know most places are trying to save money, but do you send me Chicken Parn over Linguini with a chicken finger! This is what I got. A chicken Finger with some penne.
So here was my order and price. 2 slices and a Meal Deal.
2 Slices of pizza that was COLD.
1 Mott Stix order that was only 3.
1 Salad that was lettuce and a little onions. Then a packet of KENs Salad Dressing. This was laying on top of my salad. Will be reported to the Health Department. HOW DO YOU LAY A PACKET OF SALAD DRESSING THAT WAS TOUCHED BY MAYBY HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE ON TOP OF LETTUCE I AM SUPPOSED TO EAT?
And then the chicken parm meal. 1 chicken finger with a dish filled with PENNE.
Really? $ 30?
Stay away from this place, if you want decent pizza go to Franks. If you want to spend $ 40 on 3 Motterrela Sticks, 1 chicken finger and some pene hit up TJs. Then get sick like I am right now.
BTW. After I received my food, the driver came back and asked for a jump. His car has died. I explained to him my food would be cold after I did jumped him. He did not seem to care. I just told him I did not have cables.
This is the worst pizza in Sparta. Stay AWAY

The worst pizza I have ever had. Do you like wet pizza? Well then have they got a pie for you! My pizza was so soggy it was like someone washed it in a sink. Plenty of other options in Sparta, order from someone takes care and pride in what they serve you.

Another strip mall pizza joint, the Sparta branch of this very local chain is a big aesthetic improvement over Sparta Pizza who used to be in here.
There are a few tables and there are slice pies, but this is mainly a take out and delivery place. Orders are taken and kept accurately. I’ve gotten delivery from here more than once, and they always make it on time.
The best thing TJ’s has going for it is their combo deal: Large cheese pie, a dozen wings (more on those), garlic «bread sticks», and a 2L soda for $ 19. It’s a good deal.
For me, the pizza’s a little doughy, but I like their sauce. Very tomato-​y and a little sweet. They bread their wings, and I’m not a fan of that. But their sauces are tasty. Their garlic bread sticks are deep fried little strips of dough. Not really bread sticks, and they’re decent when they’re hot, but don’t expect much from them.

Delivered pizza late to a birthday party i hosted last week. everytime a phone call was made checking on a status, we were put on hold. When it finally arrived the driver claimed car trouble. A phone call from the pizzeria or an explanation one of the 3 times we called would have been nice. Showing up with cold pizza for a birthday party that ended 20 minutes prior is bad business. Go to Franks in Sparta, they may not deliver but their food is always good.

Love the pizza — great sauce. The Italian meals are fine too. If you’re looking for a classic metro-​area pie, this is the best in Sparta.
