Ordered a take out pepperoni pizza last night for dinner and it was honestly not good at all. A frozen pizza dinner probably would have tasted better than how my dad and mines did. If that is how all the pizzas taste there, I don’t know how this place has 4 stars. I didn’t even finish one slice because it tasted very plain and rubbery. Most likely will not be back to Fratello’s. However, the customer service was very nice(hence the second star).

This is our go to restaurant for good night out with the kid. Food is great, selection is great, staff is wonderful. Good wine list and beer selection. The pizza is really really good. Lots of dishes to try, The pricing is excellent too. Can’t go wrong here.

Great, great, great pizza! We pick up pizza from this joint all the time. I love the pepperoni and bacon, plus on the weekends you can get two large three-topping pizzas for $ 20. Worth it considering how high quality it is. But regardless of price, my very favorite item is the buffalo chicken pizza. There have been times where our order was messed up. We asked for«double pepperoni and bacon» but got sausage added instead of extra pepperoni. One time my buffalo chicken pizza wasn’t cooked enough, but on later orders it was fine. Aside from those experiences, Fratello’s just can’t be beat. Well, what about Papa John’s? Pizza Hut? Nope, good bye. Mellow Mushroom? Okay, they’re close to each other. Grab a wheel from Fratello’s. It’s one of the best pizza joints in Spartanburg, in my honest opinion. I even like it more than Venus Pie, but that’s another story.

Great lasagna and pizza. Thin crust. Great texture. Garlic rolls to die for. Prices reasonable. Will definitely return!

Food is great, especially the chicken marsala. Cooked perfectly! Good local place for Italian. Not bad for a date or a late bite. Only complaint is that the prices didn’t match the menus found online. Little overpriced for what the place is. $ 16 for the aforementioned marsala entrée and it doesn’t even come with a salad. $ 13 for alfredo pasta(without chicken!). If prices were better, might frequent it more often. Service was friendly and décor is neat.

We’ve only every gotten take out but WOW. LOVE this place. Hands down, the best pizza in Spartanburg. We’ve gotten both the regular and the white-style and they were excellent. Quality ingredients. The crust has a nice favor. The toppings are generous. Beautiful presentation.(All this from takeout which is impressive!) Their bolognese sauce for the pasta is perfect. Very generous portions for the pasta, I can always make 2 meals out of it. Their meatballs are good. I am not crazy about their vodka sauce for pasta. I really want to try their other pasta offerings like the garlic & oil or the alfredo but the bolognese is so good, I keep going back to it.

Dinner on a Saturday night, about 7:30. Two small groups in the restaurant, and the hostess seated us quickly but without menus. Server came around about three minutes later, definitely overwhelmed with the activity in the restaurant. She eventually noticed we didn’t have menus and she came back with then a couple of minutes later. We confused her a little bit by holding off on ordering wine until we chose our entrees, but our wine selection was dependent in the entrée. She didn’t bring our wine until we asked for it, but it was good. The bread was fresh and good also, but they had run out and had to make a new batch and we had to wait for it. The server was quite apologetic about the wait and was very friendly. I had the baked lasagna, my wife the chicken parm. We both thought they had very good flavor, good portion size, a good value for the money. After the meal, the server didn’t offer a second drink or dessert, just dropped off the check. She also offered us a $ 5 discount for a return trip, which was a nice gesture. We will give this another shot, food is good but service could be improved.
